Edited: The restaraunt is removing the inflatable man - that makes this a 5 star, favorite brunch place! Can't wait to come back! Original: The food at Uncle John's is great. The service is great. Why 2 stars? There is a large inflatable man for the restaraunt directly outside the outdoor seating area. When I asked the hostess on a busy day to turn it off the manager lowered the amount it was blowing. It's basically like eating next to a leaf blower. I love this spot but seriously, get rid of that one thing and I will change this review to 5 stars and all your customers will be way happier. The sign is sunk cost for you - a failed advertising experience. If you don't believe me, ask all your servers to ask the guests seated outside if the noise is an issue and they'd like the thing off! I think they just dont realize it belongs to the restaraunt.
Best experience in a long time. No wait. Sat outside. Service came immediately. Food arrived very quickly. Food was amazing!! Pretty much sums it up. Satisfied Customer. 😁
The food, the service, the environment was so on point‼️ We are here during our visit from Philly and what a great decision that was.. This place is awesome in every way and the food was amazing.. Team members were so attentive and personable at this establishment we felt like family. This place is a must see if in the area.
Stopped in on a Saturday morning and seated within 5 minutes on the patio. It was quite busy inside and outside. Lovely atmosphere, friendly/attentive service, and huge portions/good value! -Chicken & Waffles (they substituted the fried chicken for chicken tenders for us) + gravy -Avocado & Bacon Omelet Souffle with Tomatillo sauce on the side + hash browns + pancakes -Side of Corned Beef Hash -Bloody Mary (delicious & perfectly seasoned) -S'mores Latte Everyone loved their meals! Large servings, and we probably would've shared/ordered differently had we known in advance. But overall, we loved the experience and would highly recommend!
I don’t usually go for pancakes, but Uncle John’s pleasantly surprised me. I started with the strawberry mango mimosa—refreshing and generously poured. For my main, I ordered the Blueberry Pancakes with their Blueberry Danish Topping. The pancakes were fluffy and satisfying, and while I wished for a bit more intensity in the blueberry flavor, the cream cheese frosting added the perfect balance of richness and sweetness. I also tried the Veggie Skillet with egg whites, then customized it with bacon and white cheese. It was hearty, comforting, and exactly what you’d want from a classic breakfast spot. Warm service, generous portions, and a cozy diner vibe make this a great place for a casual brunch. I’d definitely come back to try more off the griddle!
