I'm from the West side of the state, but make a point of coming to Union 3 for three years in a row now. Just to start, Evan is such a great person, and thoughtful tattoo artist. He always takes the inspiration I send him, and puts a unique touch on the design, taking an extra moment to make sure the placement and positioning is exactly correct. The entire shop feels like a comfortable place with approachable, and kind artists. While we were in yesterday, a large group of older ladies came in for birthday tattoos. Not only did they make the entire experience joyful and special for them, but they took extra time to make sure the machine settings were perfect, and the quality of the ink would last. The 85 year old was smiling from ear to ear the entire time, and excitedly showed her family the finished piece. I feel like my experience with Union 3 just gets better every time, and I can't recommend them enough.
Today I got a tattoo from walking in with Jake Riemenschneider. I wanted to write a review because I’ve had a fair share of tattoos from people of all walks of life but in all of those experiences I felt unsafe, unwelcome, or uncomfortable… today however, I felt the exact opposite. Thank you!
Great shop downtown right on Michigan Avenue. They have a number of very good artists working here. Each has a unique style but they all work together very well. I liked the vibe of the shop too. Everyone was friendly and the girl working up front (sorry I didn’t get her name) was awesome to work with. They are very clean, knowledgeable with their craft and have very good rates too. I have been looking for a new shop for a while and this is my spot! So far I have had work from Buddy and Jay and it has been a great experience. Ill be back.
Eine absolut großartige Erfahrung. Mike hat schnell auf unsere erste E-Mail reagiert. Wir bekamen innerhalb von ein paar Tagen einen Termin. Und unsere Tattoos sind genau so, wie wir es wollten. Meine Frau, mein Freund und ich gingen alle zum selben Termin hinein und waren sehr zufrieden. Ich muss jedes Mal grinsen, wenn ich mir mein neues Tattoo anschaue. Tolle Arbeit, Leute!
