Nothing makes my 4 month old puppy happier than going to Urban Mutts for daycare. He LOVES playing with other dogs there. He always comes home with the biggest smile on his little fluffy face and soo sleepy from a full day of learning and activities. We absolutely love JP and the team there too. Great people who are incredibly responsive and knowledgeable - and overall a a wonderful, fun place!! ❤️🐾
My expectations were already high, given the reviews - these were surpassed when I arranged for my two small dogs to stay with them for a weekend. I adopted my doggies in September, and they are still developing confidence and social skills on top of dealing with whatever happened to them, so Urban Mutts was the only place I wanted to board them. I contacted them at the beginning of the week, and by Friday, we had done an afternoon of assessment and booked them in. Urban Mutts are careful not to board dogs unless it is clear that it will be a positive experience for them, determined by the half day assessment. This initial step is indicative of what you get overall; every member of staff is a professional, and they all love dogs. My girls had a weekend packed with planned, supervised socialisation, general health checks, development, play and cuddles. My 6 year old dog often looks sad because of what she has experienced, so you can imagine my jealousy when I got daily email updates and pictures of her smiling broadly! Most significantly, she came back much improved in her anxiety around loud sudden noises on her walks. I'm not sure what they did; I must ask them how they fixed my SugaPoohBear. Like others who have reviewed, after just one visit, my doggies were dragging me to the entrance like huskies - that to me is the absolute measure of this place. Thanks to all the team for giving my dogs such a nourishing experience - particular thanks to Bruce, who oversees the daily reporting and welcomes all customers in the foyer. IYKYK :-). Urban Mutts is the only place I will trust my dog, whether it’s for daycare, boarding, or grooming. They are SO attentive, both to your dog but also to your own questions/concerns as the dog owner. They go above and beyond - from accommodating any specific instructions your dog needs to pupdates, to communication, and everything in between. My dog loves it so much, he starts running toward it when we knows we’re near, and I have to LITERALLY drag him out when I pick him up. The staff are all so lovely and knowledgeable, and the facilities are spacious and clean. I highly recommend Aaron for grooming - my dog is fussy and he still works his magic on him! Urban Mutts is truly a community and safe space for you and your dog 🫶🏼
My husband and I recently moved to London from New York with our dog, Waffles, and were looking for a place she can safely stay when we are traveling. We've had bad experiences in the past with dog daycare and hotels, as so many of them are poorly run and overcrowded, especially in big cities. I'm SO glad we found Urban Mutts - the team is wonderful, caring and detail-oriented. The facilities are also well maintained, clean and welcoming for all kinds of dogs. I am happy to say we found a great place for Waffles when we can't take her with us.
Urban Mutts was a doggy day care that I happen to come across searching frantically to place my dog over the holidays. The staff are friendly and spent much time answering all my questions about the services they provide and the overall experience my dog would have. I appreciated how patient they were and even gave me a tour of the facilities. In the end, my dog had a great time and snoozed all night when she arrived home. Thanks again Urban Mutts!
