I took my dog there because he was in so much pain. They got us in right away and did everything in their power to help him feel better. The staff was all welcoming, very professional, and so loving to my boy. I would recommend them 1000x over if you need to have your animal seen and can't get into your vet. Watson is now comfortable and happy to be home resting.
We needed urgent care for our old man. He couldn’t wait for our vet and emergency vet wasn’t necessary. Was referred to UrgentVets and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to get in, easy to talk to, they genuinely paid attention to our concerns and handled it. And as someone who can’t drop $2,000 at a time on vet care they were very realistic with costs and the courses of treatment offered. As a dog mom of three, I would recommend.
Where to begin. I brought my 10 yr old pitbull, very sweet loving, but VERY VERY Fear aggressive and not dog friendly to Urgentvet for Charlie's ear hematoma. This vet office has by far exceeded my expectations. I walk in told them our situation about his condition, his fear of being handled, touched or even looked at cuz he's so scared what will happen. The assistance, the doctor mad me feel so "We got this" feeling no matter how difficult my dog was to handle, they found a solution for everything I was concerned about without hesitating. They performed hematoma surgery everything came out great they wrapped his head amazingly explained everything patiently to me. Plus the price was amazing, more then happy to have paid this. . Thank you so much for everything and taking such good care of my baby and not being scared of him and making us feel very comfortable 10/10 💯
My boy was breathing oddly and I was able to get him in right away. We’re not from this area and I needed him to be looked at since he’s an older guy and had a brother that recently passed from an upper respiratory infection. Unfortunately they weren’t able to help him but they were very kind and recommended an ER vet to take him to. Since we were on travel I only had a crate and not a carrier, and had to bring him in wrapped in a blanket. they were kind enough to give me a carrier. Unfortunately the ER Vet was not as kind as Urgentvet. Thank you for your empathy and kindness. Although Bobby has been diagnosed with a few things, and may pass at anytime for now he is a happy guy and we are letting him live his best life for as long as he can, surrounded by human and furbaby love.
I booked a visit for my cat online for an acute sickness at UrgentVet in Chesapeake. We arrived, signed in on the ipad, and were immediately greeted and taken into a room. Everyone was very prompt to provide service, knowledgeable, and gentle with my cat. The Dr allowed me to participate in making the final decisions on my pet's care ,and I was provided cost estimates for each treatment opportunity before deciding. The medicine that he was prescribed was brought right to his room. If the need arises, we will 100% be returning to UrgentVet.
