A nice shop selling an excellent variety of gifts, cards and craft based items. Sells good quality items that you don't see in many other shops, so always worth a visit to get something different. Also sells nice stationery.
I was falsely accused of shop lifting. I was humiliated and patronised by staff. When my friend was paying for her stuff, a member of staff said to me “Are you going to pay for the pins in your pocket”. After proving them wrong, I didn’t receive an apology and staff didn’t show any remorse. I was left feeling embarrassed. I understand that it’s part of their job to be cautious about these things, however in my opinion, the way they went about it was not okay.
Me and my husband visited this store at Christmas, very busy as expected at this time of year. However, I was followed round the shop by one of the workers Male, older guy who made it very on top he was observing me! Made me very uncomfortable to say the least! We are genuine people who bought from the shop so unsure to why he thought he needed to keep exta tabs on us! We spent over £60 in the shop...on 2 pairs of socks and a bauble (daughter requested us to pick them up for her boyfriend while we was out in Liverpool). When I actually saw the quality of these socks....I was shocked, i couldn't see why they needed to price them so Highley! I wouldn't reccomend the store if I'm honest, over priced, cramped and employs weird men that follow you around the shop watching your every move!
