Love this place. Incredible staple in the neighborhood. Has been here for ages and can’t ever go away!!! Great wine selection and local beers in the back. Have little trinkets (cards, gift bags) if you just need to purchase a nice bottle for someone with a gift. 🍾🍷🍻
Amazing selection of wine and beer. Might be a touch pricier than a big box store but thats expected and its always nice to shop small when able
I am a handful of months late for this review but better late than never! Village Wine Shop helped supply beverages for my wedding last August and it was the smoothest and easiest experience. Chelsea was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable in choosing the perfect amount of supply for us based on our ideal drink menu and the size of our wedding. Zack the owner is amazing. He was so kind enough to pick up my phone call while he was in Greece with his family and still helped me with some wedding related questions I had as my wedding date was coming close. Zack also delivered everything to my venue which made life so insanely easy for us. Thank you Village Wine for making that part of our wedding experience so good and stress free!
I wanted something to enjoy watching the ball drop on New Year's Eve, & this shop is right in my neighborhood. The owner, who recognized me as a customer from Fairfax Market, greeted me warmly. They didn't have what originally wanted, but the staff were able to guide me to suitable alternatives that ended up being better than what I originally wanted! I especially enjoyed the Borgo Maragliano! I really appreciate the staff having such good product knowledge to be able to help me find something I would enjoy! I will definitely shop here again!
Choice. Wide selection and many choices. Beer, wine, sparkling, hard liquor, mixers, snacks and cigars. You got choices here! The staff also seemed pretty knowledgeable about the choices they carry and were able to help me make a selection. I think my favorite thing was the non standard choices that they carried, there’s some really interesting choices here!
