I cannot recommend Hasan at VIP CPA. I approached him in the beginning of March 2022. I needed my taxes done in both Canada and the USA as a first time emigrant working on a visa in the USA. Ultimately it wound up being very frustrating to work with Hasan. I provided him all the documents he requested right out of the gate and followed up a few weeks later and he told me he lost half of my highly sensitive personal documents due to a 'glitch' with his Citrix ShareFile setup. He did not notify me of this, so had I not called he would have completed my taxes missing vital information. On that point, he did complete my taxes missing vital information such as deemed dispositions for which he made me calculate the adjusted cost basis myself (isn't that what accountants are for?) and also omitted my charitable donations and bank interest on my American taxes which I needed to notify him about. Overall I have low confidence that my taxes have been done correctly. But it gets better: Hasan did not deliver my American taxes until the evening of the night before they were due! On that day, I also attempted to call Hasan roughly 8 (EIGHT) times as I had not received any documents from him and he did not answer each time. It wasn't until I used a different phone number did he pick up, showing clearly that he was dodging my calls the day before my taxes were due. Other times he told me he would provide me updates "by the weekend" and that weekend would come and go with no updates. I find this extremely unprofessional, especially considering at the beginning of March I was reassured by him that we had plenty of time, so to not provide me with any updates or documents until the day before taxes are due as well as dodging phone calls. Finally, Hasan has been extremely reactive since he finally completed the taxes and provided me his invoice. Now he emails me multiple times per day, and calls me multiple times per day trying to collect on his invoice. If only he were that responsive with my actual taxes. Overall, I had a poor experience with Hasan and will not be using his services again. I would recommend you to look elsewhere for a CPA who won't jerk you around and play games. EDIT: In regards to Hasan's blatantly false accusation below: He sent me the invoice on April 17th and it was paid today, April 25, a mere week later. It seems Hasan is not good with timelines nor telling the truth. In that time he sent me SEVEN emails asking for payment, and at this point I can't even keep track of how many times he has called my phone.

Hasan assisted with me with my difficult tax situation and went above and beyond with resolving my tax issues. He made sure that I understood every step and responded to my questions and emails very quickly. Very professional work overall and I will be dealing with them for years to come.

I've been doing my tax report with Hasan for the past four years and he was always very professional, quick and efficient. I never had issues and I don't have any complains. I recommend to anyone.
