It's a 10 days course at Montebello. It's 1 hr 30 mins drive from Montreal. Highway 40 goes through one village and highway 15 side is just highway. The center is in the forest and has a good surrounding. It's a saint life for 10 days to spend in silence, meditation, and a bit of fasting (16 to 18 hrs). Very good and wonderful for mind and health. It's a bit intensive course for young but for retired It's like a great life time events. You can walk by in the permitted area during the rest hour. Food is great, pure vegetarian and a good combination of salad 🥗 The day starts at 4AM and last meditation finishes at 9PM. The technique is amazing and very helpful 👏 It may scheduled for 3 days course for working professional otherwise its a great experience. I never missed the morning meditation 4:30 am to 6:30 am. As I was born in Myanmar vipassana meditation has been very familiar with me all time. When I came to Canada and going through all hardships finally led me back to the meditation again. It was such peaceful place, transformed from an Old high school, which was very well managed by the volunteers. The food was excellent, healthy, rich and delicious meals I ever eat in my life. I saw incredible things like one sick lady half paralyzed came with walking stick left the centre without the help of walking of walking stick.

Practising Vipassana meditation changed my life forever. 10 days are what you require to gain the most important skill of your life and this centre provides to the ability to learn that in a very secured and non distracting enviornment.
