Earlier this year, I reached out to Phil at Visual Captive for a corporate video project that, due to a variety of availability factors, ended up having a shoot date that was less than four business days away. Not only that, we also had an incredibly tight turnaround to have the final edit of the video ready for an event. When I initially reached out, Phil and the team were incredibly responsive. They not only rose to the challenge of meeting these deadlines but also brought creativity and expertise during every stage—from pre-planning to the on-site shoot and through the editing process. They took the time to understand the purpose of the video, making sure it aligned with our vision, and delivered a final product that created a true "wow" moment at our event. There’s so many good things I could say about working with Phil and his team over the last 6 months. We hired VC to capture video at 6 different locations for research about youth, and Phil has approached each site with both professionalism and curiosity. Phil understands that his work is not only about the technical aspects of video, but forming relationships. We often interview teens under 18 who are nervous about being on camera, and Phil does an amazing job of helping me put them at ease while also not compromising the quality of the footage. The assistants he brings with him are always very kind and professional. And the final edited products demonstrate his ability to listen and synthesize hours of conversations into a short story that somehow still captures everything we learned. We worked with Phil and the Visual Captive team to capture video footage of our annual client conference, including filming testimonial videos. From start to finish, they did an excellent job! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the process of conducting testimonial interviews smooth and stress-free. The final videos turned out fantastic.
