10/10 recommend this place for sure! Out here from New York and this is a definitely a must try. The chicken is so flavorful, crispy and tender. It was my first time so I used their chefs choice and they picked me something savory off the secret menu. Yall gotta try it!!
We decided to stop by on Christmas eve even though they were closed, to confirm their holiday hours. As I was photographing their closure sign to share, the owner Derrick came out and told me they were currently closed to cater an event, but he had just decided to also open the store with a free catered buffet. I informed him I was gluten free, and he offered to also make a special plate just to accommodate me. Incredibly generous, and everything was delicious. Gorgeous view of the mountains as well.
First time customer and was first surprised when I heard their tradition of choosing first meals for the customer simply based on if your preference of sweet, savory, or a little of both. If you don't like your meal within the first two bites, you let them know and they'll swap it out. However, our food was great now fully convinced that I like chicken and waffles! Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors.
This is by far one of my favorite places in all of Anchorage. To begin, the costumer services was great. The host was very engaging and had them order our first plate (for first timers). If we liked it we kept it, but if not we can get anything else on the menu! Needless to say that, maaaan was the food delicious! The waffles where just👌and the chicken as well as the Mac and cheese! It was perfect!🤤 The place has a unique but nice vibe to it. All in all, the food was amazing! The costumer service was probably the best I have had in a long time (and I have pretty good costumer service often). Do yourself a favor and go eat at this place! It is way more than worth it!
This place has that a bit run down appearance that means you know they focus more on the food than anything else. They're busy enough that the servers have a hard time keeping up with making sure the tables get wiped down every time between customers but once you get your plate you can see why. If it's the first time you get there they pick your meal for you and I really do recommend the surprise. They ask you a few questions on your preference and gets you exactly what you needed. You pay at the end. They focus on making sure you're happy with your food above all. I have always been a bit picky about my waffles. These are perfect. Cripy outside and soft and fluffy inside. The chicken was crispy and moist. The house sauce a bit spicy and delicious. I can't say enough. This will be a new go to.
