Switched from European Wax to Waxing the City, specifically Acarria, several months ago. I have to drive further to get there, but it’s 100% worth it. Acarria is quick and efficient, and she makes the experience super comfortable. I recommend her to all of my friends looking for a waxing specialist, and I’ll always drive to her no matter how far!
When I tell you Acarria go me right! She did the damn thing. It's been a few years since I had a Brazilian wax and I was a little nervous but she was did a very quick efficient job! She calmed down my nerves and we pretty much talked the entire time while she did my waxing. She's professional and very educated in what she does. I can't wait to go back to her next month.
I always have a great experience at Waxing The City! Itzel takes really good care of me every time I go. I started going in February 2025, and have been consistent ever since. The place is always welcoming, very clean, and overall great! I recommend Itzel to everyone I know, her knowledge for her work is very informative, which helps a lot if you’re trying something new! I can come to her with some questions and she reassures me with everything. She’s also a great girl to chat with while she works, it makes the time go super fast and makes it more comfortable for everyone. Book with Itzel!!
I had a great experience at Waxing the City! The Logan Square location is super convenient for me, the facility is nice & clean & modern looking. Both women I interacted with were very kind & made me feel comfortable and welcome. I received a full Brazilian wax & Acarria did a fantastic job. I was pleasantly surprised to get a discount since it was my first visit, and a little goodie bag to take home because I rebooked for my next appointment! The price was very reasonable ($68 originally but less with the discount), and I look forward to being a return customer.
