Great guys, honest and trustworthy. I cracked my HP laptop which would have cost me thousands to replace and they were very up front that it could cost 200 to 500 bucks to fix explain why and what could happen as they took it apart. They were able to fix the top cover salvage the screen for 200 bucks. They will be my go to going forward! Check them out!
FABULOUS!!! Edgar replaced a battery in my 2020 iPhone SE quickly and expertly. What a lovely person, truly has amazing customer service skills. Work was quick and a fair price. This is a family business so Please go support them, even just to run in for a power cord. An asset to Providence and the Fox Point neighborhood. Handing over "your life" to someone to work on it can be daunting, but Edgar put my mind at ease. 10 stars if I could!!
I came in to fix my iPhone 14 screen which it was cracked. I saw other good reviews so I knew I had to check it out myself. The young man attended me with respect and was attentive. The store was clean and neat and it saw the guitar which they let people play to pass time. The young man told me that my phone battery health was really low. He explained to me that it was important to have a good battery health. To put it simply he made sure my phone was in top notch shape and explained everything to me to let me know why I should replace my batter. Finally he offered me a discount if I wanted to get my battery replaced and my screen replaced. As well as a free screen protector for my phone. For my personal experience it was well and sophisticated and the detail to attention was great.
I've been a loyal customer here for years and have always had excellent service in the past, which is why I trusted them with my iPhone 16 Pro screen replacement. Unfortunately, this experience has been completely different and has left me in a tough situation. I brought my iPhone 16 Pro here for a screen replacement to save money compared to the Apple Store ($250 vs $330+). What seemed like a good decision based on my past positive experiences turned into a costly mistake. The Problem: The screen they installed has a serious defect - in evening/low light conditions, shadowy areas of the screen turn blue/purple and become pixelated. This makes the phone essentially unusable for viewing photos or videos after dark or in dim lighting. Their Response: After I reported the issue, they did replace the screen once. However, the replacement had identical problems. When I returned again, they refused to attempt another fix or provide a refund. The Bigger Problem: I took the phone to Apple hoping they could fix it properly, but Apple refuses to service phones that have had ANY third-party repair work - even if the third-party screen is removed. This means I'm now permanently locked out of Apple service for the life of this phone. My $1000+ device has essentially been bricked for evening/nighttime use, and I have absolutely no way to get it properly fixed - ever. Do not make my mistake. Pay the extra $80 to go to Apple directly. This shop won't stand behind their work, leaving you with a permanently compromised device that can never be serviced by Apple again. As someone who always had good experiences here before, I'm very disappointed that this repair has compromised my phone permanently.
