I came here to resolve an issue i had wirh my Specialized Levo Carbon Comp 3. Holly Sheet... this place is on their game. In just a week... not even a week so far, this bike repair will be resolved. The absolute best service and experience. I will buy all of my bike parts from Adam and company. All of my friends will be told to buy here. Be s t experience I've ever had.....EVER!!
The best bike shop in Houston! I’ve gone here for about 20 years. They are always good to me. Fast repairs and very knowledgeable staff. Their bikes are top quality. This shop has everything for a bike enthusiast.
I’m new to mountain biking, and I was planning to buy my first Specialized mountain bike. I inquired politely at this shop called West End Bicycle about the Rockhopper Elite. The man I spoke with said they had it in stock and that the price was $1,000. I told him that I saw the same Rockhopper Elite on the Specialized website for $775, and I asked if they had that same price. He replied in a sarcastic tone, not loud, but clearly sarcastic. He said, “If you buy it from Specialized, you can get it for less than $200 off, around $775. But if you buy it from me, it’s $1,000. You know, I have to make a living.” Then he added, “If you want it for $775, buy it from the Specialized website.” I told him there’s no option to buy directly on the website, it only lets you choose a local store, which is West End Bike. He said again, “We sell it for $1,000 because I need to make money,” and then hung up the phone on me. I was asking nicely, why did you have to hang up on me? I understand that you need to make a profit, but you didn’t have to be rude and hang up. Is that really how you treat your customers? I also know that the $775 listed by Specialized isn’t the same price you paid for it, because as a retailer, you get it at a lower cost. Unless you just want to overcharge and take advantage of the fact that it’s the last one and Specialized doesn’t make that model anymore. In that case, you’re just being greedy. Even if what you said is true, that you need to earn something because you bought it at a high cost, that still doesn’t give you the right to be rude and hang up on your customer. I honestly hope your business fails so that you can learn to treat people better. I’m surprised your store has a 4.8-star rating, because you are one of the rudest/sarcastic people I’ve ever spoken to. If I could give zero stars, I would. You don’t deserve even one.
Adam is great. Informative and easy to talk to. Very helpful regarding guidance on my search for a nice suspension fork for an older Off Rode Bike I ride. This shop has been around a long time for a reason. Service, knowledge and etiquette. Highly recommend.
These folks frequently take care of my bike maintenance. Adam and Butch are friendly and consultative. What is most impressive is how often they are able to deliver same-day service, particularly considering how busy they are. Even when they have to keep the bike, their service team is great at follow-up.
