This is a belated but heartfelt review: I had wonderful experiences with this vet years ago. I adopted a senior cat who needed multiple medical procedures. The vet was so caring and calming to my cat. They also did not price gauge like other places in the area. Her procedures were done perfectly and they communicated well. For example, another vet in Ferndale quoted $1400 for a procedure that this vet completed with no complications and quickly for only $350. I continue to refer people here because they are trustworthy and kind.

We have gone to Dr. Miskena for years and continue to be impressed each visit by his care, passion, and knowledge. He is very knowledgable and will often print out veterinary literature backing up his diagnoses for you to take home. The staff is also very helpful and kind. They look out for both you and your fur babies 🙏

I can’t thank Dr. John and his team enough for the amazing care they gave my dog, Ella. After seeing another vet who couldn’t figure out what was wrong, Dr. John quickly diagnosed her correctly and treated her accordingly. Thanks to him, Ella is doing so much better! Dr. John is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being. He went above and beyond, he personally followed up, responded to all my questions, and even accommodated us on very short notice. He didn’t charge me for two follow-up visits, which shows how much he truly cares about his patients and their families rather than just the business side of things. His staff was also wonderful, friendly, professional, and caring. The whole experience made me feel supported and reassured during a stressful time. I briefly called this morning and I was put on a hold Which I didn’t mind because, I understand it was probably busy. But when she finally got to the phone And I asked a few questions , the conversation felt very rushed and she was not really Listening. One of the questions I did ask was what’s the range of pricing for my cat to be neutered, And we corresponded on that question, but then You can kind of hear it in her voice that she wasn’t really interested in talking about it. She referred me to another place that “” might” be “”cheaper”! in a rude way , and I felt very Offended. In 2021 me and my family went through this vet For our late puppy that was having a heart attack, we rushed the puppy to this veterinary clinic, which they weren’t even “ busy” And basically turned their backs and said there’s nothing they can do. And also, they sent an apology grief card with the wrong name of the puppy , After they turned their backs on us. and after that me and my family Never went back. So me calling to ask about the neutering, I regret even getting in contact Because that receptionist, she is very rude and pushy when she talks, I kept getting cut off more than once. Thank you
