Check-in was an absolute breeze. I was greeted by Jamal, who was incredibly kind and welcoming — such a great first impression that truly exceeded expectations. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. It’s clean, spacious, and honestly, you don’t even need to leave the property. Everything is on-site: pizza, ice cream, bars with food, a well-stocked store, an arcade, mini golf, multiple pools, hot tubs, a water park, and more. Theres activities daily, which are posted throughout. There’s always something to do. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortably equipped with everything you’d need for a stay. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was a standout — a full shower plus a hot tub, which was such a nice added perk. The transportation service deserves its own praise — truly top tier! The shuttle buses and carts run constantly around the property, taking you easily from point A to point B on the resort. The drivers were always friendly and smiling with upmost professionalism (shout-out to Mag). On colder or rainy Orlando days, this service was a lifesaver. You can literally step outside your building and see shuttles passing by every few minutes. The multiple pickup stations throughout the resort made it even more convenient. Overall, an excellent stay with outstanding service, comfort, and convenience. The transportation service alone makes this resort a standout — we would absolutely stay here again.
Brian truly went above and beyond. He noticed that we were lost on the resort and kindly offered to drive us to our destination late at night. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to—warm, uplifting, and genuinely enthusiastic. His positive energy made the experience even better. Brian is a perfect example of staff who care and go the extra mile. Thank you for such outstanding service!
We really did like this place; had some flaws though! We thought we read that ALL the pools were heated? Not one pool was!!!!!!! The hot tubs also were not warm/hot! We were just there last week. And that's why we went there. Also our room, none of the outlets worked!!!!!! We tried to plug out phones in. And nothing worked. We actually had to unplug the bed side lamp and use that out let. The coffee pot in the room also didn't work because of the out let! Our couch which was a fold out bed was broken! My son had to sleep in this awkward elevated position! The night time activities were a little boring! And things were over priced. The restaurants, the store, extra s etc! The room was nice. Clean! We did visit all the pools and not 1 was heated. The staff was very friendly. Parking was terrible. 50/50 here I guess! Not good but not that bad.
This was a really great place to stay for last minute deal we got. Nice location though we picked it for waterpark but couldn't get to use it since it closed at 6pm and check in was at 4pm and we were busy the next day. Would be nice if they offered sunset deals for the waterpark instead of trying to charge us 25 bucks for the last hour. Other that that the mini golf was great and so were the views abd everything else! Thanks for having us!
We had a great stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. The resort is very family-friendly, well kept, and has a lot to offer. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. I especially want to mention Michael G, the manager who checked us in. He was extremely professional, friendly, and really took the time to listen to what we needed as a family. He was very knowledgeable about the resort and did an amazing job explaining things taking our kids into consideration, which we really appreciated. Michael G. went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and his attitude truly made a difference in our stay. You can tell he cares about his work and about guests having a good experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.
