The restaurant is very nice on the inside and a fun place to hang out while having a meal. The food though is just ok. The burger patties are In N Out size and not particularly flavorful and the fries are very sad. If you are in Old Sac and want a relatively cheap burger then why not.
Had the single patty/single cheese burger, the chili cheese burger, and the kids’ tenders with fries. Everything was really good! The burgers were fresh, the veggies were a perfect ratio, and the meat was well-seasoned. Even the patty on its own had great flavor. The chicken tenders were really soft and juicy, which was a nice surprise. What really impressed me was the customer service. The person who took our order, and even helped us clean up a spill, was absolutely awesome. I didn’t get his name, but he was respectful, genuine, and even thanked us for the tip. You don’t see that kind of kindness often, and it truly made a difference. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Old Sac!
Large portions of standard fare and chili (most i have ever received from anywhere). 100% best value for chili-dressed fare. First time at this new location, and it is pristine, clean and amazing both inside and out. Also, for the newbies: this is real daily chili, not the fake "chili sauce" from places like wienerschnitzel. You can easily tell by the photos - this is NOT fast food. Willie's has always made the best american food compared to anywhere (better than Nation's). Lifelong patron here. Thank you for always serving the best, to the county's best. Best burger shop in all of USA!?
Came back to Willie's after years of being away. The food is still so good, it brought back good memories. I don't know what it is about the chili but it needs to go on everything. Definitely go back next time I'm in town.
Really good burger place located right in the middle of Old Town. When I walked in, there were only a couple of people in line in front of me and the line moved really quickly. Then when I got up to order, there was a large selection of different burgers. The burger was really flavorful, a good size and overall great quality at a great price. If you're an old town, I would if you're in Old Town, I would recommend going to Willie's burgers.
