I want to start by saying I visited this spa yesterday (1/19/26) my apt was at 5:00 arrived and the front desk said 6:00. I showed proof it was 5 and they were very kind and polite asked me to sit and took care of me. I will go through this in steps.. because I do think this place has great potential. Just wish the facial was better. What I liked: 1) everything was clean and people were genuinely kind and friendly! 2) the original price wasn’t bad. 3) Haley was amazing and super fun to work with. 4) they take a picture of your face to show you where the damage is! Pretty cool. Now things that didn’t sit well: 1) I signed up on instagram ad for an anti aging facial, but what was on the list of things was LED lights (I didn’t not get). The person working on my face was friendly yes but I don’t feel like my face is any better than before. She used stem, and a hydration mask, some serums but nothing fancy like I was expecting. I was also hoping for a more relaxing facial massage but I guess they don’t do that not sure. I only paid $89 for a new client otherwise it’s like $300 and I couldn’t imagine paying $300 for that facial. Sadly 2) I spent an hour talking to Haley. I really did like her. She was definitely good at her job and maybe if I could afford it and the facial its self was great I might have gone with a package. After talking to husband and seeing my skin today not look any different I don’t think we will be getting a package. Buyer beware if you don’t like being sat down and sold packages and face products then skip this place. As this is part of the experience. If you don’t want it go somewhere else don’t be mean to the person doing their job, and leave mean reviews after your done. Well that’s it. I wish everyone the best experience!
I am so lucky to have Willow Glow Wellness Spa Clinics right here in Willow Glen. I had their signature LED Anti-Aging facial last week, and my skin has never looked better. The atmosphere is so peaceful, it feels like a total escape from the San Jose hustle. I'm incredibly satisfied with their wellness services and the fact that the estheticians really take the time to explain your skin's needs. 5 stars!
Buyer Beware: High-Pressure Sales and Questionable Business Practices I was a client at this spa for over a year and a half, and while the quality of the facials themselves often made me feel wonderful and special, the business practices overshadowed any positive experience. I strongly urge potential clients to proceed with extreme caution. 1. Aggressive and Unethical Sales Tactics: The facility operates on a high-pressure sales model centered around selling expensive packages. Despite repeatedly expressing that the cost was outside of my budget, staff were relentlessly pushy and inconsiderate. They utilized aggressive tactics, including offering high-interest payment plans, to convince me to spend money I could not afford. The sales environment was so overwhelming that I often found myself literally running out the door to avoid being pressured into purchasing another large package. 2. Concerning Business Instability: During my 18 months as a client, I witnessed significant staff turnover, with dozens of aestheticians cycling through the establishment. Furthermore, the company has repeatedly changed its business name, which now, in retrospect, raises serious concerns about their stability and transparency. 3. Financial Warning to Others: This environment felt like a financial "black hole." I am currently in debt as a direct result of being repeatedly pressured into buying costly packages I could not afford. I share this warning with everyone I know: Do not allow yourself to be financially manipulated here. I genuinely feel sympathy for the aestheticians who work under such high-pressure management, but the financial risk and the resulting anxiety make this establishment one to avoid at all costs.
Please stay away from this place. I should have trusted my gut. I bought a package back in July because I really liked Hannah’s service during my trial facial. I booked my 1st treatment of the package in Sep with Hannah and they called me a couple of days before the appointment that Hannah is no longer there. I had to pick a different aesthetician and had to work with them to reschedule. I tried this different aesthetician- TerriLyn (not exactly sure about the spelling) and very disappointed. During my facial, she kept saying she is doing a much better job than Hannah, which she was not. I asked her to clean my pores and reminded her midway through the facial and she did not. Then, in the middle of the facial, she asked me to touch my face to show me how smooth my skin was. I refused because I had not washed my hands right before the facial. This is place is rundown and I should have never purchased the package. The only reason I bought it is because I really liked Hannah. So now, I asked if I can get my package partially refunded. They asked me to fill out a form and to schedule a meeting with a manager, only to be told that the package is not refundable. They never provided any no refund warning when I purchased my package. The no refund is actually on the receipt after I swiped my card. Do NOT go there - the current management is terrible, unhelpful, and unethical. They basically want to force me to try different aestheticians.
Willow Glow is definitely a place to have a facial! Monica at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful. I was able to enjoy a body massage in the body massage chair while waiting for my appointment. Then I had a superb facial with Terilyn. I have not had a facial in 15 years and she makes my skin look 10 years younger. She was very gentle and knowledgeable about skin care. I would definitely rate Willow Glow 10 stars!!!
