My friend and I rented two kayaks for one hour, and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and did a great job of teaching my friend how to kayak for the first time. One hour was the perfect amount of time to kayak the whole stretch of the Scioto. It was a great way to see the Columbus skyline and get outdoors. Would definitely recommend!

We took two single kayaks out for an hour. We booked and paid online. The staff met us in the park and quickly had us on our way. The river was calm and we enjoyed great views of downtown. They also offer double kayaks and stand up paddle boards for rent.

Excellent, relaxing experience! My partner and I booked a tandem kayak on Saturday morning for the last evening slot. Awesome views from the river, very quiet and calm. Super cool seeing people on the bridges and in the green spaces along the riverbanks. Very close to nature, saw a blue heron, a couple of egrets and lots of geese. also saw the occasional fish pop up for an insect meal. I def recommend adding on the waterproof cell phone case (as pictured) - extra security plus it's yours to keep for future watercraft activities. The 1hr duration was perfect considering the route is only about 1 mile or so. TAKE SUN SCREEN! The intensity of the sun reflecting off the river will for sure fry your skin, esp your face! Don't take any chances, SPF Up! Definitely an experience to try, and also check out their free Wednesday nights through July.

What a great afternoon looking at Columbus from a different view. The rental was easy and our guide Rose was fantastic! Very professional and friendly! Definitely coming back! Download the parking app for the areas,and have it ready makes the experience much easier 😀!
