I had the pleasure of stopping into this shop on a dedicated wine run, and it was absolutely delightful from start to finish. From the pleasant conversation with the three people working in the store (all armed with fantastic & honest recommendations I might add) to the array of wine, spirits, and so much more, this would absolutely be my favorite stop if I was a Denver local! P.S. They have an awesome cheese selection, too!
I like this place almost as much as my dog does... It's a fairly small space but it's so well thought-out that it feels a lot larger, with wine and spirits, a very neatly appointed wine bar and a little spot with comfy seating. In the back is a walk-in craft beer cooler that my dog loves to plop down in while I browse. Honestly it's very impressive how much they have packed into their space with it still feeling natural, open, and not cramped. Whoever designed and built/decorated the store did an A+++ job. If you're opening a retail store I would recommend coming here and checking it out just for that alone. The staff is very welcoming to people and pups, and that plus the great location and cozy interior makes it a genuinely pleasant experience to shop there. As I said it's not a huge space so the selection isn't vast, but it is incredibly well curated. Which I prefer over endless aisles of mediocre stuff. I've been in twice for spirits and beer/cider and they've been excellent choices especially the JK Scrumpy's cider that is literally the taste I've been looking for forever. It's kinda like when you actually find a clothes store where there are multiple things you'd want to wear, instead of slogging through racks of crap hoping to find one thing that vaguely interests you. Wine Dispensary I go in and I see multiple things I know I love or want to try on the shelves in front of me instead of wandering a warehouse sized store where 90% of the stuff Id never touch. I enjoy a pretty wide variety of drinks depending on the occasion so I have my preferences but I'm also not a hardcore expert in any one category. So the curated selection here is perfect. Really this is the rare spot I'd personally give it 6 stars because it's just that far above the other options. So glad I finally stopped in.
I think we just found our new go-to liquor store... My girlfriend and I needed to pick up some unique beers for a themed beer party tomorrow. Rather than drive clear across town to one of the megastores we decided to simply walk the dog a few blocks over to check this place out... First of all, check out that awesome halloween decor! We were immediately greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff/owner (I assume) who had just wrapped up some sort of wine tasting thing (which sounded like fun) and directed us to 'The Beer Guy' who walked us through the pretty impressive selection of beer they carried (especially for the size of the place). After picking out some unique beers we began to wander a bit and were again quite impressed by the variety of just about everything you could think of (wine, beer, all types of liquor, from basic to high end) which included a lot of cool local stuff. It was also quite obvious that they really knew their stuff, the prices were also good and all around they just made us feel very welcome here. The guy even mentioned they do online ordering and even hand deliver (assuming in the general vicinity). So we will without question be back to support this awesome local business and I highly recommend that anyone in the area check them out as well. Cheers!
Großartiger Raum, große Auswahl, großartiger Service! Schöne Auswahl wirklich großartiger Weine, ebenso wie einige Biere und Spirituosen. Einige der Top-Marken, mit denen du wahrscheinlich schon vertraut bist, sowie einige einzigartige, die du wahrscheinlich anderswo nicht findest... Mein Verlobter und ich sind beide Gin-Liebhaber, und Rob weiß so viel über alles, was er verkauft... er hat uns den Greenhouse Gin vorgestellt und jetzt bin ich süchtig danach. Der Raum ist trendy chic, irgendwie ein modernes Lagerhaus-Gefühl mit einigen dezenten architektonischen Details, die ihm Persönlichkeit verleihen, damit er sich im Herzen von Denver wie zu Hause anfühlt. Definitiv vielseitig, wenn du hier eine Veranstaltung ausrichten möchtest... sehr zu empfehlen!
