brought my dog in here for an anal gland expression and a few days later I noticed a strong metallic/bloody smell again coming from her bum and lifted her tail and saw what looked like pus coming out. I took her to the vet and the vet told me that her glands weren’t fully expressed so they had to do them again. I ended up having to pay a vet exam fee as well as for her glands to be expressed for a second time. Tried reaching out and heard nothing back. Not impressed

It was our first time at Woof & Meow Spa and the staff was super welcoming & treated Teeko like one of their own. His groom was perfectly done with care & attention to detail by Jamie. He came out looking dapper & clean and very sharp with a lime green tie. Thank you for making our first time here a great experience.

Fabulous groomer! We recently moved here from Ottawa with our elderly dog Tedi. He’s a bit lumpy and bumpy, so needs careful attention. We sure get it here! He comes home relaxed, happy and absolutely delighted with his haircut and fancy bow tie. And it’s a smaller space, so there aren’t dozens of stressed out dogs being done at the same time. Highly recommend.

I have a 14-year-old dog who has gotten very nervous about nail trims in his old age. We'd been taking him to the vet where they had to muzzle him and every time and he'd come back stressed and anxious. On a whim I emailed Woof & Meow Spa and asked if they would take on an anxious dog's nails. They said yes and we had our appointment yesterday. They were so gentle and careful with him, giving him treats and talking to him. The nail trim went off without a hitch, no muzzle required, and he walked out of there a happy dog! We will definitely be back!

EDITED*** Unfortunately our second visit will be our last one from this place. I’d have to say this still did a great job with bathing, brushing, cutting the hair of my now 7month old PUPPY. This visit though was really disappointing - prior to the visit, I left a note on the booking website that my puppy has a claw that’s just healed from an injury a month ago and when I dropped him off I spoke to the staff again and pointed out his injury. I asked them to be careful with cutting his claw and to not cut the specific claw. I picked him up after an hour, the staff were very friendly and was happy with how my puppy looked. They said he was great. They didn’t say anything at all about accidentally cutting my pup’s injured claw. As we we were walking home I noticed my puppy refused to walk and was crying - I checked his paw and that when I noticed that there was dried blood around the fur on the injured claw. I went back to tell them about it - and they applied a medicated powder, gave me some home tips on taking care of the paw. It felt like it was just brushed off as to “oh well”. I wanted to confront them some more on about how it happened but I’m not a confrontational person. I just wasn’t happy that they didn’t tell me about the paw MOREOVER THAT THEY DIDNT REALLY LISTEN TO MY CAUTIONS on my dogs claw. Walked away with “home care tips” and a puppy with a now injured paw AGAIN. Mind you I tipped 30% prior to finding out they clipped the claw that’s was then just healed and now INJURED again. Just really really really disappointed. The carelessness of the team and how they dealt with it after I came back was far from acceptable. —————- ORIGINAL/first review- Our little 3 month old dachshund loved his session with Jamie, she is amazing groomer, it was our puppies first time being groomed, professional nail trimmed, bathed, brushed, and had his anal glands expressed. Immediately I felt that my pup was in good hands - this place was recommended to my by my sister - she gets her pit-bull’s nails trimmed here. Our puppy Nano will definitely see them again for future grooming needs! 10/10 recommend them. Shout out to their fabulous team. 🙌
