Been going here for almost 2 years & the owner, Kevin has made me so uncomfortable i’ve had to cancel my membership. he is very inappropriate and likes to watch you workout, very unprofessional and not friendly at all, all the other staff are great, love them.

I have been going to this gym for 3 week. I come everyday , do my workout, and mind my business. This past Friday I visited the gym as I normally do and was working out and having a private conversation with another gym member. All of a sudden the owner of the gym came over and sat next to us, staring at us and eaves dropping on our conversation. We were minding our business and talking about current events when all of a sudden the man tells the woman at the front desk that she needs to search my bag. In the three weeks I have been coming to the location no one ever said anything about my bag but suddenly he says that bags are not allowed in the gym despite the fact that multiple other members had their own bags on the floor as this conversation took place. I had no issues showing the front desk that there was nothing in my bag except for a change of clothes. However, if this is truly the rule then why was I never told in the prior three weeks and why had the front desk never asked to see my bag before.Additionally, the owner has had a words in the past with another member that I regularly interact with. I believe that he targeted me is retaliation for his interaction with this other member and made assumptions about me as a black man as if I would bring some sort of weapon to the gym. I had done nothing to warrant being singles out. If the rules is that you can't have bags then that should be enforced to all members. If you want to do bag searches then that should be applied to all members.

The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. You can obviously see by everyone's attitude and demeanor that they enjoy their jobs and are always eager to help. A diverse selection of equipment to choose from. There are free weights, machines, and plenty of cardio equipment. They even have tanning beds and a hydro massage bed! Plus, it's 24/7!! If you're looking for a great environment for your fitness journey away from the big gyms with an engaging staff that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, then Workout Anytime is for you!! Give 'em a try.

Not only are they lucky to get my business in the first place, because planet fitness was not 24 hours at the time I signed up in Greensboro, but they are totally inattentive to anything other than getting their money from customers. At least that is my impression. Because I moved away from the area and called on multiple occasions to cancel my membership. I currently live in Charlotte NC and made two special trips to Greensboro just to talk to someone in person to get them to cancel the memberships. They said it would be handled. Well, I canceled the debit card on file so apparently they haven’t been paid and today I get a call from a collection agency that I owe them almost 200 dollars and they have affected my credit due to their neglegence. Never again.

I’ve been at WOAT for 5 years now. Kevin, the owner, is amazing. His staff, lead by Brittany is second to none. They are a great place to work out. Start going and go regularly. It will not take long to find your “gym family” that goes at the same time you do. My wife and I love our gym family!!!
