Fantastic experience from start to finish. The spicy crab was rich and flavorful without being overly oily, the black soup dumplings were delicate with plenty of soup, and the ribs were tender and perfectly glazed. The Peking duck was done just right—crispy skin, juicy meat, and great accompaniments. Beautiful presentation, high-quality ingredients, and attentive service. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

We had an excellent meal at Z&Y Peking Duck! The miso sea bass was incredibly tender with great flavor, and the fried Dungeness crab had a perfect crunch with bold seasoning. The Peking duck was delicious, and even the green beans were a solid side. Everything we tried was well-executed and flavorful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Chinese cuisine with standout seafood dishes. S/o to AiDa for great service too!

Restaurant didn't allow reservations for less than 4pax so hubby and I decided we shall be there 30 mins before opening time and we were number 2 in the Q and by opening time there were 20 pax behind us. Once we were seated, we were served quickly. We ordered avocado, Peking duck and grilled lamb. Avocado was flavourful with sesame oil and I guess soya sauce. Love the Peking duck which didn't have subcutaneous fat (unlike those we had in Beijing and Malaysia). The tofu soup with cabbage was nice, unsalted. Grilled lamb was good too, tender and not gamey, but we'll like it more grilled. I think there's no msg and yet food is great, something for Singapore/Malaysian Chinese chefs to think about....😁 Wish there were more in our party so we can order more food, everything looked good!

Reservations are recommended. We got seated promptly at our reservation time. The walk in wait list was over an hour. The star of the show was the Peking duck, which had nice crispy skin texture and a light taste. But it needed a bit more seasoning. The pancake wrap along with the accoutrements overpowered the duck. I could only taste how good the duck is when eating it by itself. The second best dish was the sichuan cold meats, which had tender meat and aromatic spicy oil. The rest of the dishes we tried were just average. Soup dumpling’s skin was too thick. The golden shrimp was fried perfectly, but too sweet. Eggplant dish was also too sweet. Beef roll came with no sauce and tasteless. Sea bass seemed slightly overcooked and did not have its characteristic savoriness. We also ordered the taro swan pasties at the beginning of our meal, but the staff said we had to wait an additional 25 minutes after our last dish, so we declined. Overall, looking at how busy the restaurant gets compared to the food, this restaurant isn’t worth the hassle

Absolutely delicious! I came here for the Beijing Roast Duck and ended up falling in love with everything on the menu. You can really taste the chef’s care and skill in every dish — from the flavor, color, and aroma, everything feels beautifully balanced and thoughtfully prepared. The tea service here is also amazing — their Kung Fu tea is smooth, fragrant, and served with such attention to detail. It really completes the whole dining experience. The restaurant has a relaxing, elegant atmosphere, and it’s quite popular with locals and Americans alike. Whether you’re a fan of authentic Chinese food or trying roast duck for the first time, this place is a must-visit!
