It was a cool place, atmosphere, and service.. people are nice. My only complaint is this place is known for their Matchas and ours were a weird brown color for some reason. On their page the matchas is usually a bright green. We got a strawberry matcha with strawberry cold foam....
We order iced coconut matcha and Strawberry matcha, both were delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful and they have plenty of seats. The service is amazing, everything is super clean.
Love this place! Always a fun little escape, genuinely one of the cutest spots ever. Theres so many spaces that you get settle down in and the space is very cozy. I’ve yet to try the matcha but the coffee is good. Bri has been my barista both times and she’s really sweet. It’s the epitome of a community spot and I always enjoy coming here.
When I heard of a matcha shop that’s open as late as this place was, I was super excited! We drove 20 minutes away to arrive at 9PM. Saturday night, the shop was empty, staff mopping the floors. I do wish we were a little more welcomed. As I mentioned, we drove from a while away and it was our first time. Would have loved to get a little run down of the place or get asked if it was our first time for some recommendations. Our first order, we ordered an ube coconut oatmilk matcha and a mango cloud matcha. Both iced. The ube coconut was very meh. I was hoping to be more excited by it. The mango cloud was pretty good. Both could have been mixed a little better. They were both very thick and grainy. We then made another order of 2 hot lavender matchas with oatmilk. Hoping this was a no brainer, I was a little disappointed. There was way too much lavender syrup in both of them and just felt rushly made. Love the idea of a late night place to get a soothing matcha but overall, I wasn’t impressed. Loved the athletic and layout. It was very clean. I’m sure it’s a cute spot to study and hang out. But maybe better next time. CAME BACK TO ADD: We also paid THIRTY DOLLARS for parking.
Clair made me the most divine matcha I’ve ever had- tried the summer specials MANGO CLOUD MATCHA (mango syrup infused matcha latte paired with a coconut honey cold foam) & UBE COCONUT MATCHA (ube syrup infused with signature coconut matcha latte! I was going to enjoy em on my 1hr ride back home but then had to enjoy the scenery the haus provided. It’s always mesmerizing and a vibe there. Clair knows what’s she’s doing and is very thoughtful & intentional when creating & serving the menu items listed. She really made the drinks with love and that is chef’s kiss the best! Update: tried the MANGO MATCHANA SPLIT and PINKY SWEAR! Sooo so good! Never had anything like it and can’t wait to have another when I make my bussiness trips to SA!
