Zen Restoration refinished mid-century side tables I inherited from my great-aunt and uncle. Although in relatively good condition for being 70+ years old, the tables had some water stains, nicks and scratches, and were faded. The refinished tables are now a beautiful work of art. The grain is evident again, the color is rich, and there isn't a flaw to be seen. The restoration truly brought the tables back to life through craftsmanship and attention to detail. Rachael at Zen Restoration did such a wonderful, careful job restoring our oak table. It's a beloved family heirloom, but had seen some wear and tear over the years. We especially appreciated her attention to detail and the rich, new wood tones that were brought out by the restoration! Highly recommend Zen Restoration!

On our wedding day 15 years ago, my wife and I were given a beautiful spalted maple dinning room table by my groomsmen. The table is extra special for us, as they also made it by hand. Since then, the table has followed us from Athens, Ohio to Bellevue, Idaho — and the many places in between. As with most things, it has suffered quite a bit of wear and tear over the years. We have been searching for years to get it restored with no luck. Just recently, we finally got it restored! Now, it looks just as good as it did when we received it over 15 years ago. Thank you so much to Rachael at Zen Restoration in for restoring such a sentimental item for us. She did an amazing job, and was super flexible with drop off and pick up (as my wife and I work during the week).

Rachel at Zen Restoration did an absolutely amazing job of restoring my 98-year-old father-in-law's decorative table. This piece belonged to his great grandmother and he remembers it in her home. It has great sentimental family value. Unfortunately over the years, the table top cracked and was badly water-stained. Rachel repaired the crack and cleaned up the water stains making the over-150-year-old table look brand new. She was able to complete the work more quickly than we anticipated as well as charging us a competitive price.

We had 2 pieces of old furniture in storage for decades and decided to get them restored. We found Rachael at Zen Restoration on the internet and engaged her to do the restoration. My wife and I were astounded at how the restoration turned out and can't stop appreciating how good they look. Truly a brilliant job. Rachael is an incredible craftsperson and I would highly recommend Zen Restoration for anyone looking for high end furniture restoration.
