Zentarou has outstanding tableside service, even when the restaurant is busy. The staff is attentive and genuinely takes care of your needs. I really enjoyed the umeshu plum wine, and the omakase is a must-try—the fish is very high quality. The menu changes every season, which keeps things fresh and interesting. The cozy atmosphere makes the experience even better. Highly recommend.
The food is seriously top-notch—super fresh, beautifully made, and perfectly balanced. Every bite feels thoughtful, like real care went into it. This is sushi done right, with zero shortcuts. The drinks deserve their own shoutout. They’re creative, well thought out, and pair incredibly well with the food. Definitely not your average sushi bar cocktails or sake list. What really makes the place special, though, is the people. Chef Zen’s passion and creativity shine through at the counter, and Beach is one of the friendliest, most attentive servers you’ll meet—welcoming, genuine, and always checking in without being overbearing. Great food, fun and inventive drinks, and warm hospitality all around. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.
I had an amazing experience at Zentarou Sushi and Sake Bar! The omakase here is truly impressive, especially for the price. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really feel the chef’s passion—each course was explained with care, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. The selection had a great mix of classic cuts and creative bites that made the whole experience memorable. The portions were just right, and I left feeling satisfied without being overly full. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. For the quality you get, Zentarou offers one of the best and most affordable omakase experiences in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone who loves sushi!
First time here and wont be the last time. We did the 139 omakase menu and it did not disappoint! We got not 1, not 2, but 3 dishes that included nigiri. Unheard of! B and Bella were our amazing host and waitress. We're definitely fans now and love the team here! We called in ahead of time and they said they had two seats for us. When we finally arrived there was a line out the door but B stayed true to his word and we were thankful! Customer service is 5 stars here. Love the wooden japandi decor as well!
This place is my second home. I come here quite often during lunch time and it always soothes my soul. The tranquil atmosphere paired with delectable fish, truly fresh and rare fish they import makes the experience so special. Wonderful people. Even better food. Highly recommend if you like sushi. You literally can't go wrong with anything you get (I'd pass on the gyudon lol)
