Gateway Arch National Park provides guides aboard some trains to connect passengers to the fascinating natural and cultural heritage of the area between St. Louis and Springfield, Illinois. Guides ride the Lincoln Service daily in summer (between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend) and weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) in September and October. Trails & Rails is an innovative partnership between the National Park Service and Amtrak to enhance the travels of passengers by sharing stories about places and people of interest along the routes.
