Start at Arches Visitor Center

Arches National Park

Stop at the visitor center to plan your visit, fill your water bottle, learn about the park, and pick up a souvenir.

Start your visit at Arches Visitor Center, located just one mile inside the entrance. The visitor center is open every day except December 25. Hours vary by season. Plan Your Visit Rangers are on duty to help you make the most of your visit. They have information on drive times, hiking trails, ranger programs, and more. They can make suggestions about the best way to spend your time. Rangers can also help you have a safe visit. There are few sources of drinking water in the park. You can fill up water bottles here at the visitor center. Water and restrooms are available 24 hours a day. Kids can pick up a junior ranger activity book to get started on earning a junior ranger badge.
