I received the best service I’ve ever had from a hairstylist. She knew exactly what my hair needed and kindly stayed after hours to make sure everything was finished perfectly. I’m beyond happy with my hair and will be making Shear my go-to salon from now on. Highly recommend!
Got my hair done by Brit and it was a the best hair dresser I’ve ever been to. She was extremely professional and so nice. She went above and beyond to get my hair the way I wanted it. If you’re looking for someone to do your hair in Calgary she is you girl!

I had a cut with Britt, and let me tell you - this was the BEST salon experience I've had in years - maybe ever! Since moving to Calgary I've been to three different stylists looking for a heavily layered shag and hadn't gotten what I was looking for all three times. I did some research and found Britt at 1977 and I'm so glad I did because she NAILED it! Her attention to detail and technique was amazing and I could see the magic happen in real time - I could tell from the moment I sat down I was in good hands. I have fibally found my Calgary stylist! Thanks so much, Britt!!
I would highly recommend this salon and especially Sydney! I have gotten my hair cut and coloured by Sydney and each time my hair turns out perfect. She is great at getting my curtain bangs cut just right. Sydney is super kind and will make sure your hair is perfect before you leave.
