We had a Taste of Excellence as our caterers at our wedding on November 22nd of this year. They were so amazing and easy to work with. We worked with Mikaela up until our day and she made sure everything ran so smoothly she truly was incredible.
Mikaela from A Taste of Excellence (and the whole team) made our day this past Saturday so seamless and PERFECT! Not only has everyone been raving about the food to me, but the entire staff was so helpful and friendly to all of my guests! Mikaela anticipated every need, and was constantly checking in on us to make sure everything was alright on our end. Also, throughout the planning process she helped us navigate every question and decision. I am so thankful for her help! We got married at City Hall, which can be a bit confusing so I would definitely recommend working with Mikaela to make it less stressful. Taste bartenders are also the best! Very personable and fun people!
We used a Taste of Excellence for our wedding at Sun Valley on 11-8-25. The whole experience was phenomenal! We had passed appetizers and a plated dinner. I will say they have a very extensive catering menu with prices on their website which is really helpful as someone planning a wedding, and they have LOTS of options to accommodate any budget. We worked with a lot of people during the process but Jackie, Gavin, Chris and Riki were all extremely nice and helpful. They also accommodated a lot of last minute changes for us which was super helpful. And the food itself was amazing! We got compliments all night on it. Day of everything ran smoothly! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks for everything!
I just had my niece's baby shower at Mapleside, catered and planned by A Taste of Excellence. I worked with Gavin for the planning. I had a lot of questions, and not a huge budget. He helped make this a very special event for our friends and family, while staying in budget. Sharon was our go to for the day. From the time the doors opened at 9am, Sharon and her staff were organized and moving. She kept me updated with every aspect of the day, and was very pleasant and easy to work with. On behalf of my family, I'd like to send a sincere thank you! ❤️❤️
I worked with A Taste of Excellence for my May 2025 wedding at Aurora Meadows and I can't say enough great things about my experience! Taste is one of my venues 3 preferred caterers and Lindsay was my main contact. She was such a pleasure to work with and made everything so easy from the tasting to the day of. She was professional, organized, quick with communication and so kind. The bartenders and waitstaff at our wedding were wonderful and they were so accommodating to our outside desserts and signature drinks. We went with a family style meal and so many of my guests have RAVED about how delicious their dinners were! Everything was served quickly, warm, and was delicious. So many people have told me that it is the best wedding food they have ever had! I can not recommend Lindsay & the team at A Taste of Excellence enough!
