So Much Fun !!!!! Hands Down One of the Best Interactive Game Experiences Ever I visited Activate Calgary North on a double date with my boyfriend and another couple, and honestly… I had no idea what to expect going in. Our friends had been before and hyped it up, but even then, this place completely blew me away. Activate is a massive interactive gaming facility, and this location alone has 11 different rooms, each packed with anywhere from 4 to 11 games per room. What really surprised me was that every game has multiple difficulty levels, so you can keep leveling up and challenging yourself the more you play. It’s not just a one-and-done experience at all. We played some games competitively, then switched it up and played team-based games, and both styles were insanely fun. I was genuinely shocked at how challenging some of the games were lol ,in the best way. I didn’t expect such a huge variety or such an extensive list of games, and every room felt different, engaging, and exciting. This was hands down one of the funniest and most interactive experiences I’ve had in a long time. You’re constantly moving, thinking, laughing, and working together, get ready to sweat. lol it’s one BIG cardio session!! It’s honestly perfect for couples, double dates, friend groups, kids you name it I’m actually from British Columbia, so finding out that Activate has a location back home made me so excited. I will 100% be going again when I’m back. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive gaming experience in Calgary, Activate Calgary North is an absolute must. Worth every minute.
We had such a fantastic time at Activate. The games are so much fun, well priced, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lockers are included, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Each room is unique, full of different challenges that keep everyone engaged and laughing the whole time. Absolutely a 5‑star experience – we will definitely be back!!!
Activate Calgary is an absolute blast and such a fun way to spend an evening! We went on a double date night and had an absolute riot—laughing, competing, and cheering each other on the whole time. The games are exciting, fast-paced, and surprisingly addictive, so you’re constantly moving and engaged. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline, teamwork, and friendly competition, and you definitely get a great workout without even realizing it. If you’re looking for something different, energetic, and genuinely fun to do with friends or on a date, Activate Calgary is a must-try.
Writing this after just leaving the location. There's few words to describe how much fun we had. Patrick was the greatest staff member I've ever encountered, he was hospitable, kind, enthusiastic, hilarious and so patient. The rest of the staff members were great, the games were awesome and I will definitely be back. (I also forgot to take a picture in the photobooth inside so here's me standing outside after one of the funnest nights of my life)
Activate Calgary North is honestly one of the best places to visit if you’re looking to challenge yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. The games are incredibly well-designed and super engaging—the thrill and energy you feel in each room is next-level! I went with just one friend, and we still managed to touch base in all the rooms, but I’d definitely recommend going in a group of four—it makes some of the games more manageable and even more fun. Whether you’re solving puzzles, running against the clock, or working on team strategy, Activate delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something different and exciting!
