Today was my first visit to the Alchemist on 27th St. I had a deliciously unique mocha made with cacao & honey, and the atmosphere was modern and easy on the eyes. I did not notice music in the background, and it was easy to talk and hear. My friend and I were there for a couple hours and about an hour after they closed, I realized, to my horror, that I left my purse there. I called and left a message, thinking I’d have to show up at 6:00 AM and hopefully find it. Someone, who I assume is the owner, called me back promptly and immediately connected with his staff. They found my purse and put it safely in the office. I am extremely grateful and will definitely be back! Thank you, Chris!

If you’re looking for a cheerful spot with great service and drinks that feel like a celebration, Alchemist on 27th should be at the top of your list.
Alchemist is our go to coffee shop in Boise. The atmosphere is unique with cozy couches and moody decor. The barista’s are very kind and always remember us when we come in. We love the coffee and use their beans at home in our coffee machine as well! Bold, flavorful, and smooth.
Absolutely loved this place, by far the best coffee and such a cool looking business. Grabbed coffee for my team and I this morning and the person working handled the large order with no problem, even had a nice conversation. Keep up the great work !
Loved my visit this morning to grab a breakfast burrito and coffee. The morning crew were a great pick me up as I started my day and I have never been disappointed by their coffee and food. I also recommend picking up a bag of their lavender coffee for at home coffee days. It is just a subtle enough hint of lavender that it adds to the coffee experience and does not overpower your cup.
