An excellent used book store, with a large range of books on diverse topics. If you are seeking to sell books, they are selective but offer fair prices. I think this is a winning combination since motivated sellers will help them restock their shelves with books worth buying.
Very neat place to check out. It’s quite large and this is a good place to go for super niche books like Canadian history, music history, art books, psychology books you name it. They probably have any unique subject you can think of. If you love old book smell, you’ll wish you could wear this places scent as a perfume haha. Make sure you give yourself some time when going here because there’s a lot to look at. The books are also a very very fair price, better than some other used book stores I’ve found.
Great little shop. Friendly staff. Well organized and a good selection of history, religion and local history. The non fiction section was decently sized. The popular book section was a bit smaller. They did ask right away if we needed help. Sometimes this can be great. Sometimes this needs to be pulled back so not to scare people into not buying. In my situation, I was looking for a specific book and they were able to easily and quickly locate the author.
Was early for an appointment and decided to walk into this place as I love to read. Anyone who also loves to read, needs to stop in here! There is such an amazing selection and soo well organized. As I was going to another place after, and I saw soo many books I wanted to take home, I need to return and pick them up!
This is a great used bookshop in Edmonton, and I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a good book, or even just in the mood for a nice place to meander around and browse on a hot day. I found the prices to be some of the best in the city for affordability and fair market value, they don't overcharge even though they easily could because independent bookstores are becoming more and more scarce. There were many rows of books, with shelves ranging from shoulder height, to some going all the way to the roof. I'm sure there is easily thousands of books to choose from, and I would definitely say this place is worth the trip. In the back area of the store, there is a display with tons of cool antique postcards from around the world, and I could help but buy some
