The person running the shop was very sweet and helpful and excited to tell us (when we asked) about her favorite book of the moment. She also showed us some gorgeous picture books. They have a wide range of styles, subjects, and target ages from 0-adult, a seating area for story time, and some great stickers
We visited all the way from Toronto!! The owner was soo lovely and kind :) This is such an amazing book store with so many educational & enrichment activities/materials for the littles. They also have a great collection of gifts for adults as well! Don’t forget to try out the popsicles they have for sale! Made with few ingredients and they’re delicious! Thank you for creating a safe and fun place for kids (and adults) to come to!
Alice Ever After Books is a gem! It’s the sweetest little store with a great selection of kids’ books, plus I always manage to pick up something for myself from the curated adult offerings. It is also truly a children’s store made for children, my daughter adores it there and always feels so welcome. Meg herself is also wonderful, including taking tons of her time today to talk me through school selection for my daughter. A must visit.
Oh, this place is charming and full of good people. Customer service is excellent-- you can even special order books they don't have in store and pick them up at the counter. Go and have a happy wander around to find books and gifts for everyone. It's right across from the zoo, too, so you could make a day of it. The owner and her staff are very helpful and thoughtful readers themselves, so they can make excellent recommendations. Go if you're in the area! I always love coming here!
This was an incredible find on our road trip! Meg, the owner, was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and caring and offered personalized recommendations for our two kids. I love local independent book stores such as this and we lived in Buffalo, I can see us visiting it quite often, especially with good coffee in the corner cafe nearby. Thanks so much, Meg!
