Very poor experience with Ian. I needed a minor body repair and, after getting several quotes, I chose Ian despite his quote not being the cheapest, based on the positive reviews. On the day of the appointment, he asked to be paid in cash and said he would not issue an invoice. When I objected and explained that I had chosen him specifically because I expected a reliable and professional service, his response was rude and unprofessional. He dismissively asked why I hadn’t just gone with the cheaper options. His attitude was poor, showed a lack of respect for customers, and raised concerns about professionalism. I therefore decided to take my business elsewhere, where customers are treated with basic decency.
Ian sorted car, he is professional and recent him to everyone. Had a no blame crash and insurance company wanted to use their approved supplier….after 5 weeks of no progress and no communication, I got them to transfer car to Allerton Car Body. Ian sorted it in 4 working days and the repair is better than new….perfect ….see before and after
Excellent bumper repair done by Ian at short notice within a tight timeframe, at a fair price. This firm had been recommended by two separate acquaintances. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
We took our nearly 3 year old 1 Series BMW to Allerton Car Body, Dunbabin Road to repair a previous poor quality spray job on a replacement rear door, done just after the car was purchased. They did a fantastic job of respraying the door and matching the colour on the side of the vehicle, re-aligning the door and removing overspray from the previous job. It was a pleasure to deal with some friendly fellow car enthusiasts who happen to be highly skilled at what they do. We are delighted with the outcome and highly recommend this company,
Ian Jr completed work on my leased Audi A3 on two separate occasions. Both times work completed on time, at a reasonable price and to a very high standard. Car returned to lease provider with no additional charges. I also appreciated Ian advising that some bodywork did *not* need completing to comply with Arval requirements. Many garages would have exploited this and recommended unnecessary work be completed. Would highly recommend.
