We selected Alliance Bakery for our wedding cake after sampling a few options around Chicago. They did a phenomenal job with the design of our cake - I wanted vintage piping and it was beautiful. The cake itself was delicious, we got two cake flavor/frosting combinations for both the cutting cake and sheet cakes for serving and many of our guests commented on how good it was!
We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding cake from Alliance Bakery. Not only was it beautifully executed with flawless design that matched my vision perfectly, but it also tasted absolutely incredible! The entire process was seamless from start to finish, the tasting was great, customer service was friendly, and the delivery was right on time. Alliance Bakery truly delivered both in flavor and presentation. Highly recommend for any couple looking for a cake that’s as stunning as it is delicious! 5 stars all around!
A bakery with a renowned artisan.The cakes are visually one of a kind.Fashioned by an expert Now having said that I had a taste for a pecan roll which was tasty but small and less that average in appearance. The croissant was ordinary and lacked the buttery appeal. Parking difficult even with a loading zone.Service average.Decor classic elegance. I will be back only if I spot an open parking spot. AWARDED 1.5 YUMS ON A SCALE OF 3
Alliance Bakery is the best! We got our wedding, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower cakes from them, and we received so many compliments on the taste! They also looked so great. The planning process was smooth as well, and I think their prices were pretty affordable compared to other bakeries in Chicago. We're looking forward to our next occasion to order dessert from them!
This bakery has been here for over 100 years. They are definitely doing something right. Great pastries, cookies and cakes. After 7pm the store is half off. Their cakes are decorated so cute! On the pricey end but worth it. Fresh and tasty. Also the store has a very relaxing let's eat cookies and walk around town vibe.
