I called a few places and went to multiple automotive glass repair & replacement shops in San Jose and this is by far the best pricing, warranty and quality of work that there is available. Al's Auto Glass offers a 5 year warranty as well. I saved roughly $200 by having my frontshield replacement done here and it was completed within less than 2 hours! CAN'T BEAT IT!!! Make sure you call "Al's Auto Glass" directly for the best offer because the shop location is shared by another Auto Glass Owner as well that charges a different price and different warranty, so make sure you speak directly with Al for the longer warranty and cheaper price. Update Jan 2023: Repeat customer. Replaced Honda Odyssey front windshield yesterday. Workmanship was outstanding. Although Al's Auto Glass responded late with my request for a replacement windshield, Al’s price was $230 and commitment to replace the windshield later today on Monday. I immediately canceled my Thursday appointment with another vendor for a slightly higher quote and would have required me to drive to vendor's site and wait for 4 hours. Al's mobile service was very convenient. David, the technician, worked in the 90+ degree sun and completed the job in less than 30 minutes.
Got my windshield installed in less than 15 mins. Awesome costumer service and the price was unbeatable. Support your local businesses 👌🏻
I left a request for service/estimate for a windshield replacement on my 2007 Infiniti on Al's online form. Within a couple of hours I received a call with the estimate and an appointment for the very next day. They came to my house, completed the replacement, hauled the old windshield away, and left the interior of my car cleaner than it was before! The appointment time needed to shift a little, but the office did a great job of communicating, calling me several times to keep me updated on arrival time. The price was very reasonable, and both the office and the technician were very nice. I used Al's because he was recommended to me word-of-mouth by two friends, and I would definitely recommend him to others.
