Thoroughly enjoyed my experience getting my dream dress altered at Altered for the Altar. I had a total of 5 appointments, and each time I was impressed by Julie and Ruth’s attention to detail and desire to get the dress absolutely perfect. Julie was so patient with me and listened to all of my concerns about the dress. She helped me find a way for me to feel 100% confident and beautiful in my dress. Even though my dress was strapless, they helped me perfect it so that on my wedding day it was secure and didn’t move all night, and I didn’t have to adjust it at all to make sure it stayed up! I am so grateful for Ruth and Julie for this lovely experience and I plan to bring my dress in soon for cleaning and preservation!
An actual AMAZING experience!!! I had my wedding gown for my ceremony altered and my mom’s wedding gown reconstructed to wear for my rehearsal dinner. The staff couldn’t have been sweeter and were a joy to work with. I had a vision and they KILLED IT!!!! I highly highly recommend bringing your gown here to get any alterations or any major reconstruction to a dress that you are envisioning! Seriously this place is THE BEST!!! I will miss coming here for my appointments!!
I picked up my dress yesterday and I am so happy!!! My overall experience with AFTA is 10/10! What made it ten times better was working with Leilani from the start! She is super sweet, knowledgeable, and always heard my requests attentively! Leilani made me feel beautiful everytime! I also got to meet Kaitlyn at my last fitting and she was super sweet and helpful making my last fitting smooth and pleasant! These two ladies make a great team and I am so glad they helped me with my dress! Thank you AFTA!!
AFTA was so amazing and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! They were confident and efficient in fitting my dress and they absolutely nailed it! I had Julie, who was so knowledgeable, funny, and kind. She did all the magic! Every assistant (I can’t remember their names) was also very sweet and fantastic! They did a French bustle for my dress and it was perfection! It laid so nicely and flowed so beautifully during our first dance. I have recommended AFTA to every Dallas bride I know :)
Ruth and the entire team at Altered for the Altar are absolutely incredible! My wedding dress needed quite a few alterations: taking in the bodice and waist, modifying the neckline, and creating a bustle for a heavier train - and they exceeded every expectation. Ruth had creative ideas for the bodice that made me fall in love with my dress even more. I was nervous since I bought my gown in Arizona before moving to Texas, but they made the whole process seamless and were so accommodating. They even modified my daughter’s flower girl dress and reinforced the back bow to hold up to a very active toddler! The drive was a bit longer for me, but completely worth it. I’m so thankful I trusted Altered for the Altar, they truly made my dress perfect!
