I was looking for the perfect sized couch for my small apartment at a fair price. I compared the SoHo Sofa and the Indie Grey Sofa, and after testing both, I found the SoHo to be the most comfortable and actually great for shorter people. The size was also perfect for my layout. While the Indie Grey looked nice, it just didn't meet my needs like the SoHo Sofa. I also requested the white glove delivery in-store. The delivery team was exceptional; they arrived before the expected delivery window and handled carrying the sofa up three flights of stairs with no problem. The delivery was quick and efficient, and I’d definitely choose AFW for white glove delivery again.
A bit of a long review but I feel it’s important to showcase just how much this company stands by their values. First, we visited the showroom and found that it was clean and easy to find what we were looking for. The salesmen occasionally checked in and answered all of our questions, without any pressure. I ordered a recliner that was in stock, got it picked up and put together. Unfortunately one of the pieces was missing from the box. I filed a claim with customer service and was waiting on that process. In the meantime, the couch I wanted came in stock, so I got that ordered and went to pick it up. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication and the item was not in stock after all. The manager of the Glendale location immediately stepped in and made everything right, between the out of stock couch and the missing piece to the recliner. He personally followed up to ensure the delivery was scheduled. The pieces were delivered today and the one recliner with the missing piece was picked up. The drivers were fantastic, very efficient and also friendly. We will absolutely return back to American Furniture!
I have purchased furniture for multiple rooms and my most recent purchase was for our home office. Which included four bookshelves, a desk and a chair. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was installed with precision and care. The staff at the store and the delivery staff were all incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to furnish my home through with the American furniture house.
They did it again! Once again, American Furniture Warehouse provided excellent service, competitive pricing, quality Furniture for my home. We are still enjoying the first pieces we purchased 4 years ago. We moved that to the loft and purchased new furniture for the living room 🙌. I am a super satisfied customer! Thank you American Furniture Warehouse. And the delivery was on time, quick in and out, with very professional, polite, team members!
I had such a wonderful experience here, and I have to give special praise to Rick, one of the best salesmen I’ve ever met. He deserves recognition and even a promotion for the way he handles his customers. Rick was attentive, kind, down-to-earth, and friendly—he guided me through the entire process with patience and genuine care. He helped me check out peacefully, and our conversation was not only encouraging but motivating. He truly knows what he’s doing and made me feel valued every step of the way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly at the front door by another gentleman who was very sweet and helpful, pointing me in the right direction. Then Chris stepped in and suggested some great furniture options. I took my time deciding, and both he and Rick supported me throughout without any pressure, just great guidance. This showroom is truly one of the best in America—amazing staff, top-notch service, plenty of parking space, and people who really care about their customers. Thank you to Rick especially for making this experience memorable. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality furniture and exceptional service.
