We love this dance studio! Ana Maria is an awesome instructor and combines deep knowledge of dance with fun freestyle which allows my child to be creative and learn about choreography. Ana Maria is super sweet, kind, patient and high energy while teaching the youth classes. Highly recommend this studio if you’re looking for dance classes.
Highly recommend! My friends and I did a private group lesson several weeks ago for my bachelorette party and we had a lot of fun with Ana Maria as our instructor. She knew her moves and was very energetic. She made us feel comfortable even when we didn’t know what we were doing, which was most of the time. My fiancé and I also changed the song of our first dance less than two weeks from the wedding. Ana Maria went out of her way to accommodate our tight schedules and spent extra time helping us with the choreography.
My partner and I had the great privilege of working with Ana María for our first wedding dance. We are not dancers, but we wanted to do something fun for our reception. With a limited amount of time, Ana Maria was incredibly helpful, supportive, and realistic with how she provided instruction. There were a couple points where she was honest with us about our progress and it helped my partner and I put in the work so we didn't fall behind. Although we took on an ambitious dance (for beginners), we always had a great time when we showed up at Amped Studios. Ana is very creative, kind, and an absolute joy to work with! We also love her husband Pierre. And the last thing I'll mention - the studio is so clean and has a great sound system + lighting. We wholeheartedly recommend Amped Studios :)
Amped Studios is such a warm and welcoming spot to come learn any style of dance in a low pressure, inviting environment. I love the wide variety of adult classes on the schedule too. Everyone, including the owner and her husband along with fellow dancers, is always supportive and encouraging. I look forward to class every single week.
I love Amped Studios and what it stands for! Beginner, intermediate, or advance there are classes for everyone even children in all different styles of dance. All of instructors are very welcoming and will push you to feel confident and maximize your true potential. Ana is the owner and one of the instructors and she is a bright light in this world. She will make you feel so comfortable and will be your hype girl whenever you need it. She also makes it so easy financially to get your dancing and/or training in and to have a safe space to dance and that is what is much needed in the Sacramento community. Best place to dance ever!!!
