My partner and I booked a table for my birthday. We ordered using the QR code because the service was slow. I understand that it can take a little while, but in this case, the restaurant wasn't busy enough to excuse the delay. We ordered, and our food arrived, but the drinks never came. Of course, my partner and I were a bit uncomfortable because we had already asked about the drinks, and he said we wanted them to go since it had taken so long. But when they finally brought the drinks, they were for dine-in. We told the person who ordered the drinks to go, and he just looked at us and took them. He didn't even apologize for the delay or the mistake with the drinks. They brought them back, we got our drinks, and left. In the end, our drinks weren't frappes, but we didn't want to say anything. We just left. I think it was a bad experience on my birthday, and I hope they can improve their customer service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review My wife and I stopped in for juices while we were out on a date, and Lily (or girl #1) helped us with our order — she was absolutely fantastic. She was polite, courteous, genuinely kind, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. Lily has amazing customer service skills and such a great attitude. We had a really enjoyable conversation with her, and she made us feel like valued customers instead of just another order in line. The juices were delicious as always, and her positive energy made the visit even better. Lily 1000% deserves a five-star review — she’s exactly the kind of person every café needs. We’ll definitely be back!
Andonis Café & Bar gets the balance right good food, well-made drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere that doesn’t feel forced. Everything comes out consistent, flavours are on point, and the place feels easy to settle into. We had a wonderful experience at Andonis Café. It’s a cosy little spot with such a warm and welcoming vibe. The food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, and the staff were genuinely lovely and attentive. Very impressed overall — We will definitely be coming back!
I wish I could leave 1000 stars! Back in February my boyfriend and I visited Brisbane for the first time and had the greatest experience at Andonis Fortitude Valley. (Left a review then) For our anniversary I planned a surprise trip end of October back to Brisbane and specifically booked accommodation down the road from Andonis because we LOVED it so much the first time. Must we say, returning for a second time, we were left with nothing but another incredible experience. We were on holiday for 6 days and we visited the café every single one of those days, 6/6 🤣! Everything about this place is amazing, location, atmosphere, vibes not to mention the UNREAL food. I have severe allergies to seed oils and can only consume Olive oil/Avocado oil, and as I mentioned in the first review I left & this is one of the only café’s I’ve ever come across that cooks all their ingredients on olive oil. This means I was able to enjoy things I cannot usually at a breakfast/lunch café which meant soooo much to me. The taste, quality and presentation of the food always exceeded our expectations not to mention how clean and healthy everything felt. Michael and I also want to give the biggest shoutout to the incredible customer service from the employees at Andonis fortitude valley who ALWAYS made us feel welcome and treated us like we were celebrities. More specifically Neel, from the moment we arrived at the café until our last day there he was nothing short of amazing to us. Remembering our names, greeting us with excitement everyday and providing us recommendations on what to see while we stayed in Brisbane, he truly made us feel special and we developed such a great bond with him. This didn’t stop at us though, everyday that we were there we saw him and the other staff members provide the same 10/10 experience for every other customer who was there. The positivity within the team radiated into the incredible experience that is Andonis. We just want to say a massive thank you to Neel, Tej and all the other staff members who made our re-visit an amazing time. Please keep operating the way you do! One massive request Michael & I have is, pleaseeee bring an Andonis café down to Adelaide so we can come to you everyday and promote you like crazy! Thank you Andonis Team, we will be back 😊
