I have typically chosen Atha for the "special" classes or events vs. a regular membership, but every time I go there, they are so warm and friendly and engaging that I want to keep coming back. This time I think I will finally commit to a more regular practice. Love it here!
I’m in town from MA for work. I always try to find a yoga studio when I’m in Charlotte. The clas was great. I do wish the heat was higher. So I’d say Carly taught a super nice flow but I wanted more heat.
An excellent studio! A wide variety of classes at great prices. Most importantly-the atmosphere and the wonderful people who work there. Just the thought of going to yoga here lifts my spirits. Grateful to the whole team for the joy of practicing together!
My first hot yoga class at Atha Yoga was incredible! Olga’s exceptional instruction and warm demeanor instantly put me, a beginner, at ease, and her deep understanding of neurology and the body’s complex systems was evident during class. But she made it easy to grasp the how and why of a given pose. The heat challenged my mind and body, striking a perfect balance between intensity and serene centering. As a regular weightlifter, I immediately felt the mental and physical benefits of this unique blend and highly recommend this class to anyone, athletic or not!
Awesome class! First time trying the Atha Yoga free community class in Blakeney this morning. Dice was an amazing instructor! I'm new to yoga but she kept a great pace and gave good explanation as to the affect of each pose and breath wotk. Perfect way to start my day and I would definitely recommend her class to anyone.
