I tried this salon solely based on research and reviews, so I don't write this lightly! This was my third salon in the area looking for someone that knew how to highlight hair and achieve final results that aligned what I was looking for.!! I first scheduled a haircut appt. to see if it was a good fit, and discuss future color/highlights. We set expectations upfront and I decided to give it a try! Well, as of this past Saturday, I was NOT disappointed! Britney did a phenomenal job on my highlights and I am so pleased with the outcome!! (no this is not a paid advertisement or coerced review)! My hair had gotten so dark underneath, Britney, and I quote "foiled her back out" ......and I can vouch for that! She is so meticulous, pleasant and professional! The overall vibe of the salon is on point and I loved how the stylists are very much "teammates"! I would highly recommend Britney and this salon!
Atmosp’hair is a clean, beautiful salon filled with wonderful, talented stylist and color artists. I’ve been going here for many years, and after a recent visit, my son was not particularly happy with his haircut. It was a bit too short for his liking, which I think anyone who’s gotten a haircut knows, will happen from time to time. I got a call personally from the owner, who wanted to hear about our experience, and how my son was feeling. She was empathetic towards how he felt, and really sought resolve. My daughter had an incredible cut and color, and both of them look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Olga and your entire team!
I needed to find an appointment quickly and found one here. I chose Britney after reading the reviews. The place is nice, and I didn’t have to wait long, I went on a Saturday. I liked that they didn’t let me leave until I was 100% satisfied with my haircut, but it was really frustrating having to insist so much for them to cut my hair shorter, especially since the first thing I said when I sat down was that I wanted to see some space between my shoulders and my hair. I had to keep saying “shorter, please” for so long that, in the end, someone else ended up cutting my hair because the estimated time had already ended, and I had no other choice if I wanted to leave with the haircut I actually wanted for the trip I had.
I have a foreign exchange student staying with me, and I brought her here to have her hair done. Amanda, her stylist, knew exactly what to do even though my student had a little bit of a hard time explaining what she wanted. We were so grateful for Amanda's expertise, and my student is so delighted with her beautiful new hairstyle! Bonus, they also stayed within my student's budget. I'm also really happy with the haircut Amanda gave me while I was there. I'd definitely recommend this salon to others.
This was my first time visiting Atmosp'hair after trying several different salons in Durham that didn't meet my expectations. I will never need another salon again! Scarlet cut my hair and made my experience everything I could have dreamed and more. I wanted to get bangs, which is a big change for me. She not only talked me through the process, she incrementally cut my hair to make sure that I was comfortable with how the bangs looked and allowed me to take them just as far as I wanted without being overwhelming. She gave excellent and honest advice and prevented me from taking my haircut too far. 1000/10. Will absolutely be back!
