Absolutely amazing driving school I couldn’t recommend it more. I did my lessons with instructor, Gavin, who took me from a complete beginner to test ready with an intensive course over a few weeks. Gavin is an incredible instructor, calm and experienced and genuinely wants you to succeed and pass! Gavin built my confidence with each lesson and took the time to ensure I knew what I was doing. I couldn’t have passed at Balmoral without his support and guidance. Overall a well deserved 10/10 experience.
Just passed my test thanks to Craig and Austin's School of Motoring! I hadn't driven in a number of years after letting it lapse after going to uni, and was nervous about starting back up lessons again. Craig immediately put me at ease from first contact and first lesson. He is incredibly supportive of, and patient with learners, and was excellent at teaching and explaining concepts, with demonstrations as needed. He dealt with things in calm and relaxed manner, meaning you can learn from every aspect of your lesson, as he explained the rationale for everything very clearly. He went out of his way to calm my nerves in the lead up to my test! Never a dull moment during lessons! Thank you so much!
Austin's was highly recommended to me by my colleague. Passed my test yesterday with Craig as my instructor. I was full of self doubt from day 1 as i have never driven a manual transmission car let alone driving around Belfast. Craig was the perfect instructor for me, he is accommodating, very calm, gentle and imparts knowledge very well. Thank you very much Craig and Austin's you helped me become a full pledged UK driver before hitting the ripe age of 50 and just before Christmas!
Before starting with Austin's I hadn't been behind the wheel in a good while and was somewhat anxious to start again. This was quickly overcome, though, when I met my instructor, Craig, for the first time who encouraged me every step of the way right until I passed the test. I would highly recommend Austin's for any new driver who may be anxious to start as the instructors are very friendly and supportive and are overall great craic.
What a fantastic driving school! Best school in Belfast!! I had the absolute pleasure of having Hannah as my instructor and she is top notch. Came to her after having a bad instructor at a different school, she didn’t question why and was just happy to help. She is incredibly patient and I felt at ease with her in every single lesson. If you have bad anxiety or driving anxiety, get yourself in with Hannah! She’s helped me gain so much confidence in myself and taught me a valuable skill for life, and I never dreaded getting into the car with her for a lesson, despite how nervous I was about driving. She knows her stuff; she is honest and upfront about your ability and whether or not you’re ready for test. I passed my test first time with 4 minor faults thanks to Hannah! Absolutely couldn’t have done it without her, I’ll miss her terribly.
