I built a Tweed Deluxe kit with my son a few years ago, and recently it started producing a loud cracking noise. I brought it to these two guys, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They’re true experts in amp repair—professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous. Not only did they fix the noise issue, but the amp is now noticeably quieter overall AND it sounds even better! They resoldered several connections and replaced a couple of resistors, and the difference is night and day. First-class work all around!
Knowledgeable and friendly. Took my amplifier in for repair and it was completed within a week. When I got home, something was not right. I called them up and they told me to come down and they would look at it. They discover what the issue was, repaired it while I stood there, and apologize profusely for the inconvenience. Nice people, doing things that make you smile.
Tom and Corey were able to diagnose and repair my Carver mono blocks saving me the stress of having to ship my beloved amps half way across the US for service. Additionally, they made several observations/enhancements based on their analysis. I don’t know if they have a jar of pixie dust but as I write this I’m listening to Bach Brandenburg Concerto #3 and I swear the amps sound better than ever. First thing tomorrow, SRV ;-)
