I don't come here often but I love the vibe every time I go. The arcade game selection is a bit smaller compared to other places but very diverse that it doesn't matter. Quality over quantity if you will, there's something for everyone. The Taiko cab feels really good to play on, and B.Lucky providing their own Bachi is nice. The drums feel like they've been modded in a way that makes them very responsive, which is important for the game. The Wangan Maxitune cabs are also well-kept maintenance wise, as are most of the other machines in the arcade. Also one of, if not the only arcade in Melbourne that has Initial D and Guitar Hero 3. Overall a great place. Highly recommend.
The “bartender” with the frog bucket head had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered. We ordered a vodka Red Bull and while he was pouring it, half the vodka spilled all over the bar because he wasn’t even looking. When we politely asked if he could remake it, he responded with, “I’m a bartender, you know?! I know what I’m doing.” Based on that pour, he clearly doesn’t. He kept waffling on about working there for 3 years, as if that excused his rudeness. He was oversharing wayyyy too much. His customer service was abysmal from start to finish. I also ordered a Guinness and even though I was standing right in front of him, he repeatedly walked past me. When he finally handed it over, he threw in yet another comment about how long he’s been working there. Respectfully, nobody asked and nobody cares. By the time he muttered something under his breath while walking away, my husband and I were beyond done, finished our drinks fast and left. I’ve worked in hospitality, bartended for years and been in management. Currently managing a retail store. I would never speak to customers the way he did. Experience means nothing when your attitude cancels it out. My husband and I just wanted to have a drink before going to the movies, next time we will go and have a drink elsewhere. To the bartender with the English accent wearing a frog bucket head: Respect your customers. Drop the arrogance. Three years behind a bar isn’t impressive when your behaviour is this unprofessional.
26 OCTOBER 6:50pm THESE TWO JUST TAPPED ON AGAIN EVEN THOUGH MY PARTNER TOLD THEM THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE QUEUEING THATS NOT ME NOR HIM. SAYING "THEYVE ALREADY TAPPED ON". THE ARCADE ENABLES THIS BEHAVIOUR 30/9 2:27pm THERE NEEDS TO BE A BIG SIGN IN FRONT OF THE ARCADE AREA TELLING PEOPLE TO QUEUE. IM FED UP WITH BLUCKY BEING THE NICEST VENUE WITH THE BEST CABINETS AND STAFF YET DEALING WITH UNCIVILISED (NOT INTOXICATED) ADULTS The best white Dance Dance Revolution cabinet in Victoria. The shoes sign needs to go when it's the casuals that don't respect the cabinet, over the regular doesn't even come to play anymore. Something like a "how to play" sign like the one for Taiko would be much more customer friendly.
I visited this place with my kids. I had Funlab pass to use which cannot be used online. You can directly walk in and ask for your credit. The service was prompt and customer service people were friendly. However I was not very happy with the selection of games in the pass, only a handful of games are included in the pass. I understand this might not be economical for the company but even for an hour we struggled to pass the time with so little options. However the location and vibe was totally cool. Young kids will definitely love the place
The cauliflower and the chicken tacos are REALLY good, fresh and flavorful. Only $5 on Happy hour just like the beer, affordable and good quality. Very friendly staff. A lot of games too. If you are an adult who enjoys playing arcades and have some beers, this place is for you.
