I’ve been a repeat customer of Ballooms of ATX, having ordered from them a few times in the past. Unfortunately, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. The balloon design installed on 10/10 began to deflate and pop within hours, leaving bare spots on the display. By the following day, most of the balloons were gone, and the arrangement looked shabby and incomplete, to put it nicely (see attached picture). In the past, their displays have easily lasted 24 hours without any issues, so this outcome was both unexpected and frustrating. Notably, the deflation was not due to heat; previous installations in even hotter weather held up well, and it was only in the upper 80s during this setup. I reached out to request a refund or partial refund, as the product didn’t meet the promised quality and looked terrible in our yard. Unfortunately, I was only offered a $40 credit toward a future order. Based on this experience, I’m sad to say I do not recommend them.
In response to your reply and bringing receipts: I find it very despicable for you as a business to respond and publicly blame me that there was no order place and no payment received -- it is a bold-faced lie. The day before the balloons were to be delivered, I reached out to your manager about changing the date and asked if she can see if the invoice was paid and she replied it was already paid, as shown in the attached picture. So the next day, she proceeded to deliver the balloons to the wrong address. When I called about the missing balloons at my property, she stated that the balloons were already delivered but they must of set them at the wrong address. She texted back, confirmed my address, noted that she had 1 letter incorrect on her end regarding my address, and said that the driver will pick up where he delivered errantly and will drop them to my house (removed text with my address, but refer to text about driver attached in the pictures). If there was not an order, how did she know to drop off the right color and number balloons ordered to the wrong address? It was after the text chain with Miranda above that someone called me from your Houston office and said that they couldn’t find my order and no payments were received. She said she she had the Houston team make a new balloon set, and keeping in tune with your reply of "want[ing] to provide good customer service, " instructed the delivery driver to sit in my driveway and not stake the balloons so she could confirm payment. As we are a repeat customer and having a text confirming we paid, we were confused about where this was going. We researched my main CC statement with your manager on the phone, saw nothing hit on 10/6 as Miranda had confirmed via text the day prior, and IMMEDIATELY sent payment, confirmation attached to this review. Again, how is this now the new narrative given the numerous times I spoke to her and Miranda over the course of 24 hours from 10/7 and 10/8 about this order (at least 8 calls)? Convenient excuse for what went down? As a consumer, I don’t know what more I could have done. I called well ahead of the delivery on 9/27 and left a voicemail requesting the change (screenshot attached). No response from your end. I called the day before the delivery date to confirm time of delivery, spoke to both a Houston representative and Miranda that you can accommodate the date change, and if the invoice was paid and your company/representatives both responded all was orderly. All of this to say, to blame that the invoice was not paid nor was there an order placed and blame me the consumer after all the steps I took is VERY unprofessional. ===== Do not use! They apparently are under new ownership and management and the communication is lacking. Long story short, they failed to deliver an order on time even though I called and confirmed the day prior (they noted invoice paid and time/place of delivery). When I called to ask what was going on, the Austin manager Miranda lied and said it was already delivered but then realized they have the wrong address (despite the address they had on file was one letter off and doesn’t exist on GPS). They finally dropped off the balloons… just to leave it for a week without pickup to which I had to call to request such service. Just know that there was no communication after the inquiry form was filled out online in early September nor did they respond to a voicemail left 10 days before the expected delivery date.
The Ballooms team was so helpful, efficient, and NAILED my request for these cute rodeo-themed balloons for my daughter’s 1st birthday! I will definitely be a repeat customer.
I communicated with this company by email and whoever I kept corresponding with was so helpful and patient with all my questions/ideas since I’ve never ordered a balloon garland before. It turned out even better than I had hoped and I love the extra little balloons! It’s awesome!! My daughter loved it for her puppy themed party. Thank you so much!
I was very impressed with the service provided to me. I am in Houston and ordered for Ballooms to deliver in Pflugerville. They were really good about communicating with me and responding to my emails promptly. They kept their promise to deliver early in morning and it was gorgeous, my daughter really loved it!
