Barewax was a life saver today. My old waxing place as of today canceled my appointment an hour and 45 min prior to my appointment leaving me to find another spot to find at last minute pre vacation wax I leave tomorrow November 13th. So thankful and grateful that I could cry. Very professional and polite willing to help me in this situation
The booking portal is not the most intuitive and the cancellation policy is scary, i.e. you’ll be scared to book well in advance. But you know what makes this place 5 star? Sana! She’s a long time aesthetician here and I’ve been fortunate to avail her services multiple times over the years. Truly God’s hands at work through Sana. She is knowledgeable, efficient, polite, the epitome of highly skilled work and excellent customer service. Strongly recommend Bare @ 1st avenue for her

Really love Sana. I've seen her at both locations but she works mostly at West 1st. She's so sweet. So attentive and her attention to detail is 110%. I won't go to anyone else.
I have consistently been seeing Tinelle at bare wax on 1st for years for my sugaring Brazilian - THE BEST in vancouver, the country, the world. She is very detailed and efficient with her services and I always leave silky smooth (and laughing because she’s funny and good times). Always makes me feel comfortable. Expert work highly recommend.
