This is a fun store with a big selection, you could spend a while in here. I was especially impressed with the huge history section. Ended up picking up a mint condition fantasy trilogy that was a favorite as a teen, cheap. Other fun notes: they had a toy section just for dinosaur toys, and they had a banned books section.
I have visited this location twice and must say it is indeed a great spot. I went the first time for DVDs and was pleasantly surprised to walk away with so many great movie and series titles for a ridiculously low price (Monk, House, Disney titles, etc.). On the second visit, I checked the CDs and found so many worthwhile artists like Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Lauryn Hill, and Enya that I had to take them all home. I sincerely want to go back and check their plethora of books. Just be forewarned that if you do go, make sure you're prepared to be there for a long while because they have SO MUCH STUFF. Side Note: I was checked out each time by a different person but they both were so sweet! They asked about my purchases and one even had recommendations for my next visit! It was very pleasant.
i love this store. the people there, like bill, are friendly and bring a welcoming atmosphere to their store, the thrift store part of it is always full of great finds and wonderful conversations. i wouldn’t ever pick a different spot to donate to and spend my money at.
I am a regular patron of used bookstores, I have been to hundreds of them, and this is the best one I have ever been to. The prices are pretty good but the selection here is unmatched. Vintage, contemporary, they have it all. In one trip, I found more grail books that I’ve been searching for for months than I ever have anywhere else, and the prices just can’t be beat. Not to mention, the people that run this place are so nice and were literally throwing discounts at me. They also have a cool thrift store inside with super cheap clothes and housewares, like actual thrift store prices. If I am ever in Virginia again I know exactly where I will be stopping. Please give these lovely people your business!
Don't like the no prices upfront or on books, He makeup prices when you get to counter. .Will not go back! .. old wrinkle books 2$-5$ should be 25 cents
