10/10 experience at Bargain Furniture! Mike and Jo were amazing to work with and helped my family get exactly what we wanted! Jo showed us the many options they offer and she was very educated on the products. She was so kind and patient during the buying process. We purchased furniture for three different homes with three different styles and Bargain Furniture had everything we wanted and so much more. Mike and Jo took great care of us and we will be going here for any of our future needs.
Its really sad that I have to write this review and if I could give this review a zero star I would. After trying to resolved the issue on my own for months on end here I am. I am warning everyone to PLEASE READ this, do your research before purchasing at this store as the owner(Mike) will not make things right and is not honest. Here's what happened-I went to purchase furniture for my home(a sectional to be exact) I decided to purchase from Bargain Furniture as I had previously purchased from them a couple years prior(5-6 complete bed sets, and couple end tables and for livingroom) had absolutely no issues what so ever. Upon going to them this year back in February or March I picked out a sectional I had liked. Mike explained he had different financed options I could go through for approval(90 day same as cash I believe) which was cool with me. I got approved through Acima I believe for roughly 2-4k somewhere in that area. Ok cool. Upon delivery of first sectional to my home. His workers/drivers unwrapped the sectional and a huge piece was missing from the side (manufacturers defect). I absolutely refused delivery and had his employees take the sectional back with them as I was not going to pay for a sectional that was missing pieces. After speaking to Mike on the phone he was trying to explain that he will order the "part" for the sectional but I was not ok with that. Making a huge purchase of $1,200 on a brand new sectional I wanted everything to be correct. So, his workers took the sectional back on the delivery truck Ok, moving forward, and keep in mind I still needed a sectional for my livingroom. So the next day or so I went back up to Bargain Furniture. I picked out another sectional for my livingroom this time it was bigger and costed a little more than the original one. (roughly 2k give or take a little) Purchase this through Acima as well. Upon delivery of the second sectional to my home. This sectional would not fit through my front doors or side doors at all. I mean his guys tried everything they could humanly possibly do. It just would not fit. Ok cool no worries at all, once again I refused delivery and his guys loaded the sectional up back on the truck and took it away. One would think the owner would do right and credit my account with Acima because I have received NO SECTIONALS but no this is not what has happened as of today's date. I've spoken to literally what seems like hundreds of Acima representatives, and supervisors going back and forth explaining how I do not have this furniture. I refused delivery because the first sectional was missing a piece and the second would not fit into my home. I have tried to talk to Mike about this asking him to please contact Acima, send an email or something stating he has the furniture in his position and always have had. Absolutely nothing and here it is 10 months later and I am still fighting with Acima for furniture I NEVER received all because Mike refuse to send one simple email or make one phone telling Acima the truth about this entire situation. This entire situation has been very disheartening because this man has looked me in my eyes, we have had decent conversation about random things but here we are. I have been going back and forth with Acima for literally 10 months. Oh not mention Mike offered me to come back up to the store to pick out another sectional. I told him no because I needed to do more research about exactly what type of furniture should I really be buying inorder for it to fit through my doors and since I have an older home its clear I cant pick out just any type of furniture. He wasn't very pleased with that answer which is why I believed he never told Acima to credit my account and that I never received the sectionals. Come to find out I needed furniture in the box. Purchased it through Wayfair and its working out perfectly. Now, in regards to this situation I still fighting with Acima and I will be moving forward to figure out my other options. I HIGHLY HIGHLY warn anyone to please do your research before shopping at this store.
Worst experience ever , on the day of my delivery they called and said that the trucks were down . I told her I would take a refund and she said she had until 6 to find a driver. Then the man called and said he would bring it but he would need help bringing it in . I paid 300 dollars to have to get him help and he pulled up to my home with my mattress tied to his roof . I paid 90 dollars for delivery, I could have tied it to my own car if I knew that was what they were gonna do . And he got mad when I said that saying he did me a favor . I paid my bill in full it was not a favor for me at all . I told him I was leaving a bad review and he said no bad review, I’m very disappointed in the way my mattress was delivered and how unprofessional he was . I was obviously upset because he was unprofessional and I paid in full for my item . Never shopping there again and I will put this on all my platforms if need be.
I bought a brand new dining room set today. I am completely happy and satisfied when the delivery guys came. They set everything up as well. Nothing was scratched or broken either. They beat the price that of value city furniture
I went in to purchase a twin bed, mattress and box spring. I was tried and my patience was short. Mike and Jo worked with me and gave me an excellent price. The bed was delivered within an hour of me leaving the store. The delivery staff was gracious, courteous, and efficient. They delivered the bed, assembled the bed, and placed it exactly where I requested. I would definitely use them again; and refer others to do so as well.
