TLDR: fancy, overrated swimming pools. good for convenient, quick relaxation, but there are better options. if i’m being honest i would’ve rated higher if it wasn’t for me trying a korean bathhouse. the one in nj is worth the drive, but this is good enough for convenience of the city. i wouldn’t travel just to try this though. a pro is that the areas are coed so it’s easier to be with friends and partners. con, the lobbying area is alright, another spa provides clothing to change and the lounge it’s significantly comfier. ofc never get the food. they make their food sound asian to draw attention, but it is far from authentic and way overpriced. overall the price for what you get isn’t bad if you get it when it’s 39$. I also enjoyed the showers afterwards. we paid 49 for 8 pm on Sunday so honestly kinda worth considering the area.
I had a lot of fun and would go again. They have a good amount of pools and saunas. You can bring your own water bottle and get as much water as you’d like. They provide you plenty of towels. It’s worth going on a weekday for $55 and you can spend hours there. However, there were a few problems that I had. It took me a while to go through the self check in because 2 kiosks were not working. They also seemed understaffed. There was no one to help you or guide you through the place and show you the locker rooms. The signs for directions were not the clearest. I got a bit lost trying to find the locker rooms and pools. Also, no one was guarding the locker rooms and I caught a few men walking in the women’s locker room. In the pool area, there was one girl walking around topless and staff didn’t do anything about it. The place also didn’t seem the cleanest. But overall, it’s not bad.
We came from San Francisco just for a few days, and choosing Bathhouse was the best decision we could have made. Such an incredible place to truly reset and recharge. My massage session with Shein was absolutely amazing — deeply relaxing, thoughtful, and very professional. You can really feel the care, presence, and expertise throughout the entire experience. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was perfect. This place helped us fully disconnect and come back to ourselves. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a real reset — it’s worth the trip.
pretty cool, good amenities. must note it’s incredibly american in everyone wants to be center of attention, so you might try to relax i. the sauna and two bros are just YAPPING full volume about which firm wants to hear their startup pitch. or women talking about how the homeless problem has gotten out of control and it’s not fair how katie got the promotion. fine it’s a social space but just so loud and hard to relax. also bros who just go in a sauna or stream room and leave the door wide open so i had fun and enjoyed plunging but lot of main characters here
My boyfriend and I were traveling from Vegas and landed at 6am NYC time. We couldn’t check in to our room for a while so we headed to check this place out, hoping it’d be a good place to relax and catch up on some rest. It was AMAZING. We had a lovely time and the aufguss ceremonies were heavenly. I also really appreciated all the amenities and goodies in the women’s locker room: face wash, face moisturizer, lotion, mouthwash, hair ties, etc. I would come back here in a heartbeat!!
